This is retarted, for the bulls. If memphis got this trade, this would help there team a lot, rebuilding wise. Pau is great and all but Gordon is the main guy of the bulls, IMO. Losing him would hurt their team.
Oh god, Memphis has to pull on this trade they need young gunz, they need to go into the same rebuilding phase Philly is currently in. Gordon brought to memphis will really help them out along w/ PJ Brown and a first rounder. Pau Gasol will be a great addition to the bulls, Kinda hoping for him to head over to new jersey though.
Bulls would easily be the best team in the East if we do this. For memphis, I wonder about minutes going around in the coming years, but Gordon LIKES coming off the benchand scoring 20 a night...the more I think about it, id rather have Gordon.
I trust Paxson to but to put it in kind terms, this team is simply underachieving this season. I know we are like 1 and 1/2 games out of first in the East but to have Ben Wallace and our core getting better we should have a much better record than we do. The reason we don't is simple, because we don't have a great scoring power forward who can dominate the ball alot of the time. We also have one closer in Ben Gordon, everyone else seems to take a seat to watch him in the 4th. We have just given games away this season and a perfect example of that is the Phoenix Suns game.If it were up to me I would rather trade Hinrich but his contract lures people away so therefore I'd go with Deng. Why? We have Tyrus Thomas waiting in the wings and it really doesn't look like he will be playing power forward with his body type atleast right now so we could place him in Lu's position. Also in 3 years or so when Big Ben is gone we could move Tyrus back to PF and Gasol to C.But if it is PJ Brown, Ben Gordon and a 1st round pick, I think Skiles would have a lineup of such...PG Hinrich/Duhon/SefoloshaSG Sefolosha/Griffin/HinrichSF Deng/Nocioni/Thomas/Victor KhryapaPF Gasol/Thomas/Sweetney/AllenC Wallace/Sweetney/AllenThat lineup is good enough to take us to the finals only if we can have consistant play from Kirk and Thabo.Ben Gordon like I have said all along, he is our most valuable trade asset and I dont blame West for wanting him but I Pax could find a way to keep him and get rid of hopefully Kirk and if not then Deng, I'd like that better.
I think trading Gordon and moven kirk 2 sg is the dumest thing paxson can do. This is one move im hating. KIRK ISNT A f*cking SG
Though the Bulls would be a contender, I still think come playoff time, the Heat will end up in the Finals. With Wade and Shaq back playing together, they are starting to click. They are a veteran team, and the same team they were last year. The Bulls would be losing their top scorer and their clutch shooter. So, I don't know if saying they'd be the top team in the East without a doubt it safe to say. They will definatly be a team to deal with though.
Well thats what he has 2 say. He cant say Yeah we are going to trade him. That might mess up the team and distract them.

Yeah thats what I said. IDC what skiles says.. Its all about paxson.. Maybe he will letgo of skiles 2 ... I HOPE
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (The-Phenom @ Jan 25 2007, 03:39 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>That means nothing, what do you expect any other coach to say in this situation?</div>Considering its Skiles, Skiles is prolly one of the biggest asses of a coach, if he thinks a player is gonna get traded he'll most likely say it. If he wants Gordon on the team and he says it, Paxson seems like the type of GM who will give him that player. Since he basically drove every other player that he didnt like out of the organization.
I'm not sure about all this, but this is the main question(S) Who has the biggest future upsode, Gordon or Deng? And will they take just one of those two if a trade is in the works? If we lose both plus P.J. plus the pick thats too much, at least for what we want to do.
This is what Reggie said during the halftime show during today's Bulls and Mavs game. "John Paxon should offer, Deng, Nocioni, Tyrus and a pick for Garnett, cause Kevin Mchale is going to accept that. Reggie also said that Gasol might not come to Chicago because he doesn't want to be the main guy. He wants to be on a team where he is like the 2nd 3rd option because he doesn't like all the pressure. And the Bulls need Big time help in the paint.

Trading him now would be foolish if you ask me, even if we get a guy like Kevin Garnett. Personally I think KG has about 2-3 good years left in him, he has been in the league since like 95 I think and all that wear and tear on his knees will eventually take effect. He is by far the best possible player you could wish for if your talking about a big 4 that can score, but I dont want to waste our future by trading our rooks. The best offer that I would do to get KG is..Bulls Trade:Andres Nocioni or Luol DengKirk HinrichNY's 1st round pick and next year's first round pickBull Receive:Kevin GarnettEven that pry wouldn't be enough to get KG and honestly he isn't worth giving all of that when we would just end up like Minnesota by giving away too many of our core players and have no other talent. Luckily we could keep Gordon in this situation but we get rid of Deng and Kirk who are one of our better role players. Im all for getting KG but for the right price.I think since the emergence of our new star and future superstar in the making, Ben Gordon, he will become that 25-27 ppg guy that we have always been looking for but now we need to get him a scoring forward to pair up with him like D wade and Shaq. I want to get rid of Hinrich really bad right now, if Gordon can't become our future PG I see no reason why Thabo can't. He has PG instincts, he sees the floor better than anyone on our team but he just lacks supreme confidence which you could expect from a rookie. If you could get rid of Hinrich and his contract for a guy like Pau Gasol, the Bulls will be a favorite to win the East this year and possibly an NBA championship.
I kinda feel the same way about tyrus thomas, right now he doesn't look very good. But theres something about the way he plays that just makes me thing hes gonna be awesome
Kirk hinrich aint going nowhere stop trying to trade him. lolAnd if I was to trade tyurs I want to keep our pick. BUT KG doesn't KG's contract end a year before or the same time as wallace???? thats alot of cap to rebuild our team when there done. then again Trading Deng Noc and Tyurs leaves us short at SF with just thabo

He is having an off year and nobody is untouchable on this team, NOBODY!
