A sports executive who was a major donor to the Clinton Foundation and whose firm paid Bill Clinton millions of dollars in consulting fees wanted help getting a visa for a British soccer player with a criminal past.

The crown prince of Bahrain, whose government gave more than $50,000 to the Clintons’ charity and who participated in its glitzy annual conference, wanted a last-minute meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

U2 rocker and philanthropist Bono, also a regular at foundation events, wanted high-level help broadcasting a live link to the International Space Station during concerts.

In each case, according to emails released Monday from Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, the requests were directed to Clinton’s deputy chief of staff and confidante, Huma Abedin, who engaged with other top aides and sometimes Clinton herself about how to respond.

But the exchanges, among 725 pages of correspondence from Abedin disclosed as part of a lawsuit by the conservative group Judicial Watch, illustrate the way the Clintons’ international network of friends and donors was able to get access to Hillary Clinton and her inner circle during her tenure running the State Department.

The disclosures also cast new doubts on Clinton’s past claim that she turned over all her work-related email from her private server to the State Department for eventual release to the public.

Turns out Mrs. Clinton is a better learner than she’s given credit for, and the Clinton emails released by Judicial Watch on Monday prove it. The emails were pried out of the system by Freedom of Information Act lawsuits, and they suggest why the Clinton Foundation could be so attractive to the rich and mighty. When a donor had a problem that required the secretary of state’s attention, there was Doug Band—a Clinton Foundation exec—emailing Hillary’s top staffers at the State Department to ask a favor.

This is not anything new...capitalism doing back door deals in a scratch my back I'll scratch yours world. Military does it...Pentagon does it...Politicians have always done it....now what's not being talked about is what good the foundation has done besides the side deals....I think many poor African and Caribbean nations are grateful to the charity without giving a shit about Bono or the Prince of Bahrain...Dick Cheney was a master at the back door deal. Hillary does not get my vote, but not because she profited from a charity.

Less than 15% of the money has ever gone to anyone other than the Clintons and their "employee said". The work paid for with that small % all went to Clinton cronies performing the work at inflated prices.

Man that is remarkable efficiency. When even the small percentage, that actual goes to good works, is directed to cronies for them to profit. That is indeed fine tuning.
 
Our defense contractors have used payola to influence whether places like Taiwan bought our fighter jets or French fighter jets...govt money, paid for contracts...old news. Communications used to be on ticker tape from teletype machines, stapled in burn bags and incinerated immediately after being read...the older politicians have yet to figure out how to veil shit from the internet, but they've always veiled stuff....doesn't make it right but sorry, there's no shock factor in any of this news from my view.

Obama, who is squeaky clean when it comes to family and not skirting/violating/bending the law for political or personal benefit, appoints a woman has historically lied, cheated, stolen, broken laws, violated laws, bent laws, etc., and she did. That's the no-surprise factor here.

Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.

Sounds like just what happened in Oregon for Gov. Kitz and the media stalled until after election so we were stuck with Brown. Should have went to GOP candidate.

I am voting Trump and hope that he can somehow start to change the corrupt system, no it will not be easy or even maybe possible.
Hillary she is just corrupt thru and thru.
Gary Johnson just sounds like he has smoked to much pot in his life, would like somebody paying attention if elected.
Listen to a little of Jill S. sounded better than Johnson.
Still very little chance it will be anyone other than Trump or Clinton unless she drops out.
I will vote against Clinton and for Trump
