Its about time they give heller a shot. But you know lillie that rotator cuff injury was from the rest of the team beating the shit out of him in the locker room after the game to make sure cashman got rid of him.

They should have beaten the hell out of Pineda and Yates as well. Worst thing about last nights game was seeing the smirk on the face of Cano. Yankees need to go out there and kick some butt this evening and wipe that smirk off. Sometimes in the real world when one gives a two week notice in writing they're told hey you can go right now thanks for the formality. Should have told Tex the same thing and cleared a spot. Glad to see Heller up, put him out there and see what he can do so that broken pen gets fixed. And please Joe, keep that God Damn Goober and Clod duo from leading off.

Hard to believe Tex wants to still be a part of this when he knows he's totally cooked. Fans will be all over his ass if he continues to take playing time from an up and coming young player. Face the facts Tex.....you suck.

duly noted, can't count how many times Kim heard out loud, Fk U Cano....!

Remember a couple ago, Cano was on "The Tonight Show". Passer's by were asked what they'd say to Cano if they ran into him today, (on his 1st trip to NY as a M).... then all the jackasses, tucked their tails b/t their legs, and praised his lame ass........

were all those fks really frauds, so big and tough, or was there no 'hard core' Yanx fan interviewed??? Was that footage deleted, never shown??? I bet there had to of been a hostile or two...

On top of Cano being on base too often, it was nice to see Castro smash the ball downtown...not Cano...!

No Gardner tonight with his rubber noodle limp dick arm. At least Cpt. F can't be blamed for not picking up the RBI tonight. But shit, Hicks, ... hope we get our money's worth in exchange for his anemic mute bat, he's got to make 4 PA's, with laser throws, still not enough, never to be a 1 sided offensive-less player.

The Future can not come soon enough. Good to see Sanchez DH, but Tex in the lineup is painful to watch, as much so as Headley's-nessessess. Torreyes, Mighty Mouse to the rescue.... I hope.

hope the Giant's are not scouting for a D.E....

Suckcliffe, what a moron. Stated that the Yankees should have tried to resign Cano early instead of letting him get away. Then further stated that the Yankees had not won a post season game since he (Cano) left. Well Suckcliffe the Yankees have only played 1 post season game since Cano left.

I think the Yanks should've called up Heller two weeks sooner.
He's had every right to get a chance considering who the Yanks have instead been going with....you know, the usual suspects with poor "numbers"...Swarzak, Yates, Goody...ect, while Heller is a highly regarded prospect with the good numbers AAA to match.
Time for him to get his feet wet.

Notice what the writer said in the report below concerning Joe The Genius and his use of Swarzak.
Lol, seems everyone but Girardi knew the ridiculousness of the situation.

    http://yanksgoyard.com/2016/08/23/yankees-anthony-swarzak-ben-heller/

"It seems much more likely that this the only way the front office can stop Yankees manager Joe Girardi from continuing to use Swarzak in crucial late-inning situations while the team fights to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot.
Girardi’s affinity for the 30-year-old righty with the career 4.54 ERA is a little baffling. Swarzak has a 5.90 ERA and 6.28 FIP in 29 innings of work for the Yankees this season".

Surprised by the pitching performance of Sabathia last night. Credit to the old dog, handled the Mariners well, timely hitting from the offense, couple sparkling infield plays.
