Right on Joe, more playing time for Torreyes, keep old Chase warming the bench wondering where he'll be traded. Seems lately that Hicks is starting to get some hits as well. Damn these are cool times again.

we're being punished out here, YES is blacked out, so ROOT it is...

all this (media) chatter about Sanchez's HR's vs Maas's. Stats, smallest qty of games to HR's, that's where any comparison begins, and ends too...

unlike a busted up ball player with 2 bad knees, Sanchez will be around for a long time, the way he's off to the races...

    ...^^^

Torreyes reminds me of Altuve, the kid is Scrapper, love his drive and "how badly it shows he wants it" ....

I about fall out of the chair whenever I see Judge and Torreyes side by side in the dugout or field. Judge could play for the NFL, I'd bet. He'd make a great Goalie Hockey, his entire body would cover the net/goal...

Still waiting for Judge to launch another. Did crack up last night when Glanville said the walls were nervous hen Judge was chasing fly balls.

If Sanchez continues with his power, first, Yankees will be moving in the right direction; and,
McCann undoubtedly will be heading back to Atlanta. McCann, a true professional ball player,
will be missed, but it would be the right move.
The game is always about the injection of new, talented blood, and with the Yankees, it has long been overdue.
I'd rather watch young ball players making and learning from their mistakes, instead of older
players continually doing the same mistakes and not bettering their play.
    GO BABY BOMBERS!.........

You listening Ellsbury, Gardner, Teixeira.........your days are dwindling.

Looks like we won't be getting our first look at a possible future bullpen building block in Ben Heller.
Last night Joe the Genius wouldn't allow Heller to at least go one batter at a time to begin the 9th inning with a 4 run lead...Girardi went directly to Betances.

TODAY the Yanks have another 4 run lead and good old Joe sends Tyler Clippard out there to begin the 8th inning.
Would it be a disaster if Heller got his feet wet and began the 8th inn with a 4 run lead.... and lifted it he allowed a baserunner?

Now Yanks have a 5 run lead and Girardi OF COURSE sends Betances out for the 9th.

Not sure when or IF Heller will get to pitch..Joe must be waiting for a 7 or 10 run difference to bring in Heller.
I guess I got it all wrong...I thought they were going with the kids but I guess it's too much for Girardi to allow Heller pitching to one or two batters, or heaven forbid an inning....with a 4 and 5 run lead!

    .....let me review my notes.....
The Yanks traded Chapman and Miller- I'll take a wild guess and believe the Yanks will need to rebuild the bullpen.....they've promoted a late inning relief prospect (Heller) who was regarded highly enough to be included for trading Miller-

He's been here for a couple of days and has yet to pitch to a single batter while the Yanks had a 4 run lead in one game, and a 5 run lead in another game.

You can fire Cashman 100 times for all I care...just get rid of Joe Girardi.

...just as Sanchez will eventually come back to earth, I gotta believe Judge will eventually settle in and get more comfortable at the plate.

I was hoping Judge would light one up today with the opportunities. Hopefully he'll tee off on the Orioles in the up coming series.
