Gallardo hasn't exactly been Cy Young lately. Line is on the Yankees I'm rooting for Cessa and the Baby Bombers. Kick some Crack Town Ass Stripers.

Why? Why? Why? ...........bat Teixeira fourth behind Sanchez and then insult every Yankee fan by
batting the non-table setters first & second. Girardi, please FCOL stop referring to your black binder
already! Let us see how these guys produce.......like they have done all year. Lol

doesn't make a lick of sense does it. You'd think the Kidz are expecting to be in Post Season....

Honestly, if this were my team, I'd send Gardner, Ellsbury, Headley, Tex and C.C., Pin Head, Hicks, probably a few others, back to AAA even if I had to DFA them.... bolster up the Minor's, let all the Young Guns and Prospects get a pass to come play where they've long dreamed; give 'em a taste, see if it's the spark necessary to bring forth the new fresh crop of Yankee Talent for years to come.....

one thing's for sure, its sure as hell, isn't going to hurt nothing or change much of the outcome; "the Plan" is being revised as we speak.....anything goes mean time....

    Ya' think....?

    This is it.
If the Yanks are dreaming about playing post season baseball, and if they have a hot streak in them, this is the time to begin it.
Cessa needs to keep his breaking ball below the knees and throw his fastball on the top edge of the strikezone. His breaking ball flattens out unless he pounds it DOWN in the zone.
Yanks can make up a four game difference...but the biggest problen is having a couple of teams ahead of them. The only likely way is to get very hot over an extended period or of course a good win streak.
I'm not betting the house on those chances....but I am hoping.

If Gomer Pyle had seen Tex with that bomb he'd have said Shazam! Surprised the hell out of me as well.

I think Buck gave Joe a tip before game time, or offered to buy tonight's beer, if he'd tell Cessa to float Tex a hit, ... why Joe continues to pencil Tex in is questionable, IMO....

Wow just got in to see another bomb by Sanchez. That kid is something special. Looks like all the old coots ate their Wheaties before the game.

Bad electrical storms in Tampa St Pete, powers gone out several time but each time it has the Yankees are that much further out. The old goats produced, sitto the kids, Cessa with another nice outing and I got back on as Heller was doing his thing. Looking at that Baltimore line up I'd say Buck was a few French fries short of a full course. But hey nice to see the Yankees put a ding in their pennant drive.

I guess the lineup didn't do too badly tonight. Five games over is the high water mark on the season I believe. Hopefully, they can keep it going and sweep this team.

    Learn something new every day.
I never realized all this time you had no problem with Tex batting cleanup.

Thank goodness "Joe The Genius" hasn't traded one single top prospect despite being vilified at last year's trade deadline and being mocked for supposedly having a "plan" for the team to get younger......
....oops, my mistake, it wasn't Joe The Genius.
