That does indeed suck for him. He should have been smarter in the situation but it's understandable. Can't really say much else than that, but hopefully people learn to think before they act.
Wow, I can't believe this. I feel really sorry for the kid. I mean, the law was stupid enough, but kids at my school, their are plenty of juniors going out with freshman and even seniors going out with freshman, and of course, they do stuff. So I guess, there are plenty of kids at my school that should be serving 10 years in jail.
Ive been hearing about this for some while now in georgia. It's pretty ridiculous, and very sad..I feel for the kid, and that ESPN article is real good, I enjoyed reading it.

I don't understand how the law can be changed but he still has to serve all 10 years. That is complete BS. And she was only 2 years younger too. I don't understand how oral was a felony but intercourse is a misdemeanor. Georgia law must be f*cked up.
I'll just let everyone know: Georgia Law, Georgia Jails, Georgia law enforcement(for the most part)...is awful.Were known for court house killers, and injustices like this..
Well I saw this on TV tonight. I don't think the law is stupid. What I think is stupid is that they have intercourse as a misdemeanor and oral as a felony. Both should be a felony if anything. I don't see why people are so impatient these days that they have to have sex at age 15. The chick he was screwing was 15. Serves him right. Though I'd put him at 5 years, to be honest.
