Am I the only who couldn't care less about this? I will only be following with the hope no Rangers players get injured.

i used to love the world cup but it's been many years since i last cared for it. My last memory of it is Richter standing on his head making ridiculous saves.

i use to feel that way about the world cup but i read a story yesterday explaining the rules and it did get me excited.

obviously you worry about injuries but honestly i rather this then them doing the Olympics. that is a complete waste of time IMO even when the time zone is friendly to tv viewership.

i dig that this is going to be on ESPN and would be ecstatic if ESPN could pickup some games from nbc. the biggest thing i like about this? all the games are being played in canada so nothing more sweeter if they get knocked out by the americans on their own soil.

Too bad ESPN can't bring back Gary Thorne and Bill Clement to announce the games

Gary Thorne was awesome...now he calls Orioles games...
Speaking of announcers did anyone see/hear the Kevin Harlan call of the fan running on to the field during the 49ers Rams game? That was INCREDIBLE!

Watched Zuccarello take a pounding in the crease; he got up and continued to be a pest. Assisted on Europe's
winning goal vs Czechoslovakia. Europe 3 Czech 2

It does not mean much to me, however I am interested in it as a hockey fan. On top of that I haven't seen a competitive hockey game in 4 months.

Henrik Lundvist stopped 45 of 49 SOG and still lost in OT. This scenario is all too
familiar. He performs outstandingly and winds up on the losing end. This guy deserves
    better.

Chelios & Hull ripping USA team's defense & Mr. Tortorella. What else is new?
Ranger Defenseman McDonagh is not playing well.

Wasn't McDonough the leading scorer for the USA team? Didn't seem like the team cared much until the last 5 minutes of each game. Torts is one of the most overrated coaches in NHL history. Grit never wins over talent in international competition but Torts needed confirmation. Bet Dallas fans aren't too happy about this competition after losing Seguin.

^^^^I was making reference to this game. ........not the whole series.
Sick and tired of Tortorella. Never shuts his mouth. Always putting down players.
Aims for the negative; has nothing positive to say. Thank God he's outta New York.
