Really followed them in St Louis. I also liked the Cardinals when they ran their losing steaks against the Cowboys.

You could have gotten shot at wearing a Raiders jacket back then.

The raiders won! Man, that was a great game. Carr is a star in the making.

Raiders. Uncle was the team Chaplain for many years, so as a kid he used to send me all kinds of memorabilia, and when we would visit him, I got to meet most of the Raiders from the 70's.

Fuck the Seahawks. Fuck Seattle. I have always resented that team because the NFL just assumes Portland is a suburb or something of Seattle.

I got indoctrinated into Packer fandom by my Grandpa and Uncle when I was about six or seven. Little did I know that Lynn Dickey and Don "Magic Man" Majkowski weren't good enough to lift those teams to anything higher than 8-8 on occasion, so my teenage years were full of bitter disappointment.

That being said, it's been a remarkable twenty+ years run ever since Reggie White signed with the team and they traded for some kid named Fave-ruh.

I'm already bracing myself for the inevitable downturn when Rodgers eventually gets traded away and I get to remember what it was like to root for a team that doesn't have a QB.

I have liked the 49ers since I was a kid in the mid 90s because of that Mormon bastard Steve Young, and to a much lesser extent I have liked the Colts since they had Chad Cota (his son is a future Duck) since he's from my area, so I'm a dirty double teamed fan.

Both teams suck balls now so you can't say I'm a bandwagon fan!

    >I too, am a dirty double team fan. Cardinals since the 1970's St Louis days and Colts to Ravens. I could never like the Colts in Indiana. The Baltimore Ravens are always in a game, give you fan ulcers and and they win ugly. The Cleveland game yesterday is a perfect example.

I haven't watched a full game in over twenty years. The last thing I want to hear on issues is the opinion of a football player.

Because...by definition, someone who plays football for a living is incapable of having cogent or relevant opinions? Whose opinions are worth listening to on issues? Is there a list? Do I need to take notes? Will there be a test later?

Perhaps, if you think it will help.
When I go to a football game, I expect to see football. When I turn on a football game I expect to see and hear football. If they want to use the time for other purposes, then I will and did
make other choices. But please feel free to make yours.
