Back in my day, grape soda was called a vine fizzy. we had to walk all the way down to the drugstore down by the brick pile near old oakville.

    simpler times.

Muslims inform Dion Waiters that they were kind of hoping for someone better.

I don't know. The guillotine worked out pretty well for the French. Although it was obvious Marat was having quite a party.

I see a lot of people call Waiters that, at one point I probably knew why, but I've forgotten.

Anybody care to shed some light?

Pre-draft, Mediocre Man nicknamed him such when there were some rumors that we might be interested in him (which he really didn't want, because Waiters went to Syracuse).

I figure he must be. If he had money he'd buy some senators and get some changes made.

Skipping a patriotic American song before a game because he's Muslim? Ali would've kicked his ass.....not the message you want to send to an American Muslim community that is seeking equal treatment as American citizens

Insulting the people who defend your freedom is the worst way. It is referred to as shooting yourself in the foot.

It's up to every citizen to defend their own freedom. I'm surprised that you, Mr Gun Bunker, is so quick to give up that right to the military.

The military or police do not enter into it, except as individual citizens.

The flag and anthem are a symbol of "The People", our government is comprised "Of The People", and it's up to every citizen to defend their own freedom by defending the freedom of all other citizens. It doesn't work any other way.

CK is insulting me and anyone who has ever spoken up for freedom, his protest is misguided and ignorant IMO, but if I didn't defend his right to do it I would be "shooting myself in the foot".

I do have guns, as all Real Americans do, but there are no bunkers in my life. A bunker is nothing more than a prison cell, and there is no room in one to be free. Bunker-builders are mentally-challenged/damaged individuals who have grown up with a strong instinct to flee and hide when threatened, usually because they were severely abused as children. I'm more than a tad claustrophobic and spend most of my waking hours in the great outdoors here in Beautiful Central Oregon.
