right. with Mike Riley as coach, Helfrich should have known they would be ready, even if it didn't look like it.

Hoke isn't the problem, it's his first season and he's put in an entirely new scheme. It's Helfrich and his offensive staff that are a bunch of fucking twats.

Hoke is all right. they will be a good defense soon. Prukop is ok also, play calls did not help him.

You know what is truly concerning? Since Mariota, we haven't had one QB worth a damn that's from OUR recruiting pool. A fucking 2 star true freshmen from Sheldon is our QB2, THATS a big issue.

The Ducks' momentum died with that terrible holding call when Prukop had a nice run. If that was a hold, Nebraska held every time they ran the ball.

This team is fucked when Pac 12 play starts if they can't even beat Nebraska, we're looking at an even worse season than last year. .500?

If Helfrich ever loses his job.... he shouldn't be worried. He'll just be rehired on again as offensive coordinator.

I'm not even talking about the entire game. That was an entire game and it really shifted the entire momentum. Weak calls during big, critical moments are lame.

It feels like we are back to the "hey, if we beat Washington and Oregon State the season is a success!" Type seasons... Sadly idk if we can beat UW, seeing how they have a competent coaching staff.

Do you think the team will finally open up the pocket books to bring in a big name head coach?

Nope, HC gets hired from within and I doubt any of us want Hoke or Lubick to take over...

Oregon's relevance is fading. They'll be remembered as a flash in the pan.

It won't matter :( Helfrich will still get us into 4th and 18 positions only to call a play action pass...

... I really don't think they acted like that. That was a relatively normal amount of celebrating for a game like this.

I think Oregon actually outplayed the Huskers overall, but not by much. This game was so close in many ways to being a close Oregon win, which is something you'd be happy with playing at Nebraska. All we can hope for now is beating our pac 12 rivals.

The big game of the year will be cutting down Washington at home.

Helfrich was right about something on special teams. when Nebraska dropped a punt, the Oregon player with the best chance to recover it had lost focus just before it was dropped; he seemed to be staring off to the sideline instead of watching the ball.
