Game Thread NFL Week 2, 9/18/16

Go Giants and Raiders!!!

 

Giants home opener against a weak Saints team. And Ron's Raiders home to the Falcons.
Both teams should win.

 

^^^Yup...Raiders have a chance to be 2-0 for the first time since...uhhh...uhhhh....uhhhh................it's be awhile.

Giants showing offensive line troubles. Eli is taking a pounding! I was afraid of this.

 

OMG! On a blocked FG attempt, G-men get on the board with a special teams TD ! Up 7 - 0...........
in a game the Giant O looks horrible.

Do not like the way they are playing. Giant D allows Saints FG within 2 minutes at the end of 2nd period. One thing for sure, they do not look very confident.

Saints kicker, Morstead keeping Giants deep in their pwn zone.

 

OTs suck big time. Play calling sucks. Too damn conservative. First and 10 on Saints
20 yd line.......and they proceed to go backwards......Brown kicks 3 lucky points= 48 yd FG
This is one ugly game to watch. No fluidity on O.

Giant fans booing Giant offense; their horrible performance and play calling

Brees is moving Saints toward a TD; Giant D on their heels. NO TD. Tied at 10-10

 

It is an ugly one so far. Looks like the D is getting back to it's old self, Saints already in Field Goal range.

 

...just like last weekend, I look for another high scoring game between the G-Men and the Saints.

 

Wanted to watch the Raider game after this but here in NY, CBS is airing the Bronco game. What a surprise.

 

...Raiders letting a high school team beat them...pathetic.

 

One last point about Giant ineptness with O........not one rushing first down. Ya think there will
be some changes?

Week 2: Favorites from game to game tough to call. So far Broncos, Pats, Steelers look strong early.

 

...Raiders, first team in nearly 50 years to give up 500+ yards in each of their first 2 games.
