<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Celtics got some good news today when Al Jefferson said he?s feeling much better and will be able to play tomorrow night in Toronto.

Jefferson suffered a mild right ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of Wednesday?s loss to Atlanta and did not return to the game. But the swelling isn?t bad, and while he can still feel some discomfort he plans to play against the Raptors.</div>
I am obviously happy that Big Al is ok and he will be able to play tomorrow. However, if he's still "feeling discomfort," WHY PLAY HIM TOMORROW??? Why risk it? Why? I mean I'll be a very happy man to see him on the court, but how terrible would it be if he somehow re-aggravates it in Toronto? I say let him sit on it for a couple days, and see how he feels Sunday when we play Washington.

Wah? Al Jefferson got more then once? I saw when he fell hard before halftime. I didn't even know he left. Good to see he's okay.

This is great news for the Boston Celtics who can't afford to lose another player due to injury even though their playoff hopes are basically over. Al Jefferson has been a great player that has came out of nowhere this season. A really nice surprise for the Celtics.

Al needs to be injury free for the year. If that means sitting out a game here and there, I'm all for it.

So far the playoff picture isn't in the eyes of Celtics fans. But when you know you can't make it, you might as well just stay out for a few games until your 100% so you won't hurt anything again and be out even longer. But hey there's more great new too. PP is coming back after the all star break too.

I agree with CB. Why risk him coming back so early and further aggrivating the injury? The Celtics obviously arent going to make the playoffs this year, and they probably arent going to win tomorrow night either. I say leave him out for a couple games and let it fully heal.
