Note to Gardner & Ellsbury: over these last ten games how about earning your salaries instead of drawing huge salaries under false pretenses!!!!!!!!!!

Another prize, Headley: for the second night in a row he flubs the dub with the bases juiced!

milliseconds oh so close for Sanchez's deep CF too high a blast...could of been tie game, milliseconds from squaring up, for his dinger of the day....

next at bat, in this Homer Dome... I'd love to see Sanchize walk away with 5 HR's in this 4 game series, great thing is: It's possible, once again to sit on the edge of one's chair watching Yankee baseball...

Mitchell has had some bad calls on one hand, on the other he's been lucky but that Butler miscue hurt. his is good OJT and character building for '17.

I hopeful these final games are a countdown to get Gardner the hell out of here.

Girardi has managed with his ass the last 2 weeks. His refusal to take Ellsbury, Gardner, McCann and Tex out of this lineup when they all have left small villages on base makes me sick. And his handling of the bullpen has been a joke. Is Austin even on the bench? Use HIM!

The veteran stuff is annoying. They killed the team this year.

Tonights game pretty much keeps the Yankees out, hopefully Joe will insert and play those kids. They can't win but they can sure put a dent in the playoff entrants.

Tex should've retired after the grand slam. He's embarrassing at the plate.

Toronto owns Yankee mediocre pitching. Until the pitching is improved, Yankees will always be
    in an uphill mode!

The senior players on this team outright suck......as many have already stated. To continue putting
them in the lineup, either Girardi has no confidence in the youngsters or he refuses to bench
players who lack motivation. It is time to play youngsters at every position.

It is what it is until next season and retirements and Cashman take away Girardi's veteran toys. It makes little to no sense at this point to have Austin planted on the bench and not getting at bats.

...it's rather obvious that the Yanx are finally headed in the right direction...the Yanx now really have nothing/little to play for the rest of the season...so yeah, for the last few games the youngsters might as well play.

Agree 59, yanks not making the playoffs and need to just get the kids a few more games experience. Lot to look forward to next season with sanchez(can he possible pick up next year where he is leaving off this year) judge, bird and austin should all be regulars somewhere next season. Tex is gone, Mccann and gardner should and will be traded for something and with headley and ellsbury the yanks need to pay half to three quarters of their salary and find another team somewhere that might be interested in them at a discounted price. I'm very happy with our future position players and expect clint frazier to be up here next year by the all start break. Where I am more concerned is where we are going to find the young pitching we need which is why I see next year as a transitional type year where if things break right could be competitive but more likely up and down due to the pitching. Have to decide if seve is a starter or reliever which is a major decision and can't keep jackassing the kid back and forth. Need a closer as betances is better suited to 7th and 8th inning work. CC is back (yay) tanaka also whose elbow could snap at any moment, pineda I hope is traded somewhere, and the rest of rotation spots i suspect will be an auditioning merry go round next year. Hope the kid they drafted 2 years age kaprillian (I believe) and the kid they got form texas tate will be ready to step in soon. Cashman needs to keep acquiring young pitching at every opportunity and hopefully a couple of them will flourish. All in all at least with the kids up here and coming we have something good to look forward to in the future especially if cashman can clear out the veteran crap that is still here.
