I was reading an article after Prince's death that interviewed one of his childhood friends and band mates. He said Prince was considered
one the top ballers in the area at his age group and would have gone to a local Minneapolis HS powerhouse if he'd been a bit taller. Amazing talent.

I love that guy, when he said his audience was like his family I knew he was right. When he said he was the first one NOT to go to college I figured that was probably true because he was a genius to me.

I didn't really understand the video though, when the sound cut out for like a minute and then the captions said he was probably talking about the illuminati. I don't know what the point was.

I have always been kinda pissed at him for the show ending, but hearing him talk about it makes me understand what it was probably like. Money isn't everything and it sure as shit would be hard to top those 2 seasons of that show.

Honored to have been able to see him live here in Portland a few years ago.

It was right after that Horford heckling incident, and they claimed they would be kicking people out for so much as pulling your cell out of your pocket or any heckling. The whole show went on without so much as a peep from the audience (not counting laughter), and at that point he was loosened up and wanted the audience participation. He talked about how he felt like he had done all this and done all that, he has the house, the car, the pool, and didn't feel like there was anything else he wanted. I'm thinking "Man this guy can't stop doing stand up" so as I'm sitting 3 rows back from the stage I go "Man you gotta get a hot tub", he heard it and said that he's already had one of those, but it ended up getting full of pussy juice (tying into an earlier part of his routine where he was making fun of the Lil Wayne song with the lyrics "Got a bitch that play in movies in my jacuzzi, pussy juicy"). Shit was hilarious, downright legendary, everyone in the place was cracking up, and I got a moment I'll never forget.
