Why did the prosecutor pick manslaughter instead of murder? Why are trained police held to a lower standard than the rest of us? Each one gets a million dollars worth of training. Shouldn't it be a higher not lower standard, with more not less punishment, than untrained killers?

I'm condemning the people that would donate to that. I wouldn't give her a red cent.

Nor would I, but I could see where cops and others who want to make sure she's given the fullest defense possible might want to.

Maybe a black guy robbed her at the gas station and then she joined the National Guard and a black guy kicked her in the leg. Probably has PTSD.

I haven't read everything posted, when did she says she meant to pull her taser? Before her lawyer got to her I assume.

Videos show no definitive visual evidence Mr. Scott had a gun in his hand. But Chief Putney says other evidence from the scene proves it.

I should mention that I was just kidding about the PTSD.

However, it does remind me of a girl I dated. I couldn't get her to wear a seatbelt in my car. She said her friend in high school was in a jeep and it went into a ditch filled with water. It rolled upside down and she couldn't get her seatbelt off and drowned.

I told her the one in 500,000 chance of that versus the major chance a seatbelt would save your life wasn't a good trade.

My brother's best friend was ejected from the vehicle when some speeders ran a stop sign. One of the coolest cats I ever met. It was one of the worst funerals I've ever been to. It should not have been an open casket. That can't be unseen.

I can see that too. Doesn't make it any less deplorable IMO. It should be condemned.

Those who contribute to her lawyers to give her a full defense...will those people also contribute to blacks to give them a full defense? They are so worried about everyone getting a full defense, right?

(Actually, donations are not needed. Police unions always takes good care of accused union members.)

It doesn't bother me any more than if the situation were reversed and BLM folks were contributing to the defense of one their protesters who was accused of manslaughter because a cop got killed during a protest. Seems to me that justice is most fair when there's adequate money for the defense to best make its case.

    Oh, that is terrible.

I saw pics on the internet of an 18 year old girl who crashed her dad's Porsche into a toll both. Same thing, never forget it.

Do you believe in the constitution?
    You probably won't answer that...

    Because your forefathers said:

    Amendment VIII
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

We feed death row inmates ya know....
