I didnt watch it, but LOL. I could have guessed which posters would have what reactions before i even opened the thread.
I'm watching the CNN post debate show as well as reading twitter and why the hell are so many people giving Trump a pass on not being prepared and attacking Hillary for being prepared? What the hell is that...
Trump came out swinging, he was very strong the first half an hour but slowly started to fade towards the end and Hillary seemed to get to him. She ended the debate a lot stronger then he did. This debate really shows we are screwed either way, we get a buffoon of a bully in a suit that thinks he can push anyone around without consequences or we get a career politician who will do anything for power. I think Hillary wont the debate but it was close.
I think if he would have just answered the questions instead of reflecting his performance would have been stronger, and in doing so might have won the debate. As it is he let his ego cast him as only caring about his image and his business...Oh Charlotte is great I have investments there, oh Chicago is great I have property there...he showed he doesn't care about the people only himself, his family, and his business... Also he may have may have started out strong in a sense, but his talk about trade was crap. He is a hippocrit. He owns companies that make things overseas...the way to stop these businesses from leaving, from jumping through loopholes to pursue greed is to make them accountable to the rules not to give them another break and 20% one at that.
It makes me sad that tens of millions of people will vote for this idiot. Sad state of affairs that he's even gotten this far. That was an ass whooping of the grandest of scales.
No @riverman is right. He answered two questions by agreeing with Clinton, otherwise he rambled on into non coherence, straying from the questions, which Lester Holt had to keep asking him over and over again...maybe he has Alzheimer's
Yeah, I can't understand it. Why so many people are lying to themselves and applauding him tonight. Must be mass delusion
Clinton answered every question. She had to get back to some questions, which she always eventually did because Trump kept going on a bunch of bullshit stupid tangents that Hillary had to rebut.
For those of you here who support Trump, as a member of this forum I respect your opinions. As a citizen of the United States I am dumfounded.
You must be a renter, handing your hard-earned cash straight over to the elite. So you don't understand. When you own real estate in a community, whether as a homeowner or a landlord or a business, you care about that community's health and welfare like you do your family and friends. You're invested in it. When your hundred-millions were "gifted" to you by banks and Saudi terrorist financiers with a wink and a nod, earned only by a promise to betray your country and your countrymen, communities don't mean shit to you.
Before the debate, I picked Trump to win, by a lot, I was wrong. Trump claims to be a professional businessman. He did not look professional during this debate. Professionals prepare for important discussions. He winged it, no preparation. Professionals research key points, he made stuff up. Professionals plan how to use the accurate key points to make the biggest impact. He did not have a plan. Professionals execute their plan; he acted like a 5th grade bully. Professionals evaluate how they did, and things they can do better in the next important discussion. He is already blaming others for his poor performance. That does not mean Hillary will make the better president, but I believe she won more of the undecided vote. God help us.
An underwhelming debate but Trump most definitely took an L tonight. Trump looks as competent as Rob Ford.
If you were for Trump before the debate, you're likely still for him. If you were for Hillary, you undoubtedly are even more in favor of her. Two different groups speaking two different languages. The question is who made the best pitch to the undecideds. From my viewpoint, it was clearly Hillary, but then I don't speak Trump.
