I agree with Mr. Riverman on that all candidates running should be able to be part of the debates. It shouldn't be just a 2 party system. I also think terms of senators and congressmen should be limited like the president...I think it's ridiculous we got lifers in there, that have been in Washington for like 32 years straight. Should be a two term limit like the president...leadership needs to be changed out on all levels periodically.
Wait, what? They were freaking out over a Howard Stern interview where he said "I guess so"?????? Lame
That's literally the only piece of evidence that documents Trump's view on the war before it started. That's why it gets quoted. Trump claims to have been against the war before it started, but the only evidence that exists contradicts him. Unless, of course, you call Sean Hannity. You should call Sean Hannity. I don't know why no one calls Sean Hannity. Sean Hannity. Sean Hannity. barfo
And what is your opinion about Trump, who uses (and indeed, abuses) H1B workers (and also married one)? Is he also a POS traitor to his country? Or are you going to give him a pass on his use of H1B workers? barfo
Patently false. Someone here posted a video of Trump in January 2003, that's before the invasion of Iraq, saying he was opposed. Even in the video you all like to point to, he wasn't exactly for the war with any conviction. "I suppose," he said. Unlike you-know-who, who took to the floor of the senate and proudly cast her vote for the war, and "with conviction." http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/09/27/2003-clip-backs-up-trump-on-iraq-war-opposition.html 2003 clip backs up Trump on Iraq War opposition (video at the link) But Cavuto himself picked up the thread post-debate on Fox Business Network, unearthing the clip Trump referenced, from January 28, 2003 – Nearly two months before the Iraq War began on March 20. In the video, Cavuto asks Trump how much time President Bush should spend on the economy vs. on Iraq. “Well, I’m starting to think that people are much more focused now on the economy,” Trump said. “They’re getting a little bit tired of hearing ‘We’re going in, we’re not going in.’ Whatever happened to the days of Douglas MacArthur? Either do it or don’t do it.” Trump continued: “Perhaps he shouldn’t be doing it yet. And perhaps we should be waiting for the United Nations.”
Those are the rules. You're TAKING money from people who earned it. They're going to protect themselves. It's only fair.
Let's see on one hand we a billionaire businesman who is going to rip the loophole wide open so big business can do what they please without any restriction and on the other hand a 20 year politician who is aiming for more restrictions....I'm not voting for the business man that's for sure
No it's fair that if they are going to sell good here, regardless of where they are made, they should pay the tax to do so.
They do collect sales tax on the goods. They pay tax on telephone lines, gasoline, sales tax on whatever they buy, property tax, 1/2 of employees' FICA/SS (and the entire salary that gets taxed in the first place), among many other taxes. Big businesses write gigantic checks to the government, quarterly, or the government would crumble under the weight of its own excess. In other words, they're at least the tax collectors. It's still the rules. If there's a crime, bring 'em up on charges. That this hasn't happened is a clue to the reality of the situation (no crimes). Don't you find it odd that Obama hired Jeffry Immelt, CEO of GE, to be his jobs czar? GE is notorious for paying $0 in tax. There's not one shred of evidence Trump has his money parked overseas, BTW.
It sounded like Trump was not opposing a war with Iraq. He was basically saying he didn't know what the US should do. That somehow makes him right about something and a genius? Weird.
I'm not a trump fan, but... there's this saying - "he may be an asshole, but at least he'd be OUR asshole."
It's certainly not pro war as the fact checkers say he was. Makes you wonder about the objectivity of those fact checkers.
