I haven't said one thing pro Trump. Not one. I've written that the post debate polls say he won. That's not me saying "go vote for Trump, I'm going to." I'm frankly shocked how criminal Clinton is that Trump can even have any traction at all. If Republicans nominated almost any of the other 17 who ran, we'd be looking at a republican elected for sure. She's that bad that he is worth people voting for him.
Hillary kept saying throughout the debate to go to fact checker. Maybe she knew something about the way they would slant their responses. I remember at least one lie she told that fact checker did not catch. She said our police are outgunned. That may have been true 15 years ago. But today the police are very well armed. Unless there are RPGs on the streets, the police are not outgunned. Many large to medium size city swat teams travel in armored vehicles, which the bad guys do not have. Here is an article about 600 small towns inheriting armored vehicles from the military. https://www.yahoo.com/news/as-wars-...nherit-armored-vehicles-233505138.html?ref=gs
I was wrong - I was unaware of the Cavuto interview. However, it does not really back up Trump's claim. That does not add up to opposition to the war. That adds up to 'I don't know'. If he'd claimed he was neither for or against the war, I think he'd have a good case (if a somewhat irrelevant one). Let's remember that it wasn't fact checkers who claimed that he was in favor of the war. It's Trump that claimed he was opposed. That's the claim at issue. barfo
"I was among the earliest to criticize the rush to war (in Iraq), and yes, even before the war ever started." — Donald Trump on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016 in a speech
His claim is backed up by this video. The "fact checkers" were satisfied to stop looking once they got their desired "facts."
How is this untrue? We now have the video where he was opposed, even before the war started. Trump continued: “Perhaps he shouldn’t be doing it yet. And perhaps we should be waiting for the United Nations.” Seems critical of the "rush to war."
Where in that video did he oppose the war? He said gee, I don't know, a lot of people are more concerned about the economy, perhaps we should wait for the United Nations, gee, I don't know....
Trump continued: “Perhaps he shouldn’t be doing it yet. And perhaps we should be waiting for the United Nations.”
Are you saying that perhaps that was opposition, or that it was actually opposition, or that perhaps he shouldn't be opposing it yet or perhaps he should be waiting for others to oppose. I think you are saying that he was opposing the war, but it's so hard to tell.
Except that according to the link provided it isn't the only evidence. I told an ex who asked me if I wanted to get a Vasectomy "I guess so" That was 20 years ago too and I've never got one. Guess I lied.
Can he do that? I don't think any candidate has ever done that? If he does that's as good as throwing up a white flag and forfeiting the election.
Maybe they can find a Reflector interview from 2005 where Hillary is asked if she would let gays marry and she answers "I suppose" I keep seeing 2013 as when she endorsed it. Whoops, while googling it I found a 2002 video where she got booed for being against it. Old people sure are stubborn.
http://www.dailydot.com/layer8/trump-clinton-debate-online-polls-4chan-the-donald/ Seems quite obvious.
"To keep up with Trump's bullshit they had to outsource fact-checking to China. Sad." - Bill Maher LMAO
And now Trump wants to bring up Bill's affairs. What a fucking hippocrit. How me affairs has he had? What about his own infidelities. Shit, each of his wife's were his mistress before he married them.
