LeBron to sit out Friday vs. Sixers with sore toePHILADELPHIA -- LeBron James will sit out the Cleveland Cavaliers' game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday to rest his aching toe His right toe is still sore and the team doctor said a night of rest would help, Cleveland coach Mike Brown said after shootaround Friday."If it was a playoff game he could play," Brown said. "The doctor suggested it would be good to give him the additional rest. It's just sore."Brown said he did not expect James to miss Sunday's home game against the Phoenix Suns (ABC, 1 p.m. ET).James, who leads the voting for next month's All-Star Game, originally injured his toe on a West Coast swing earlier this month. He aggravated it in a double-overtime home loss to the Sixers on Wednesday, skipping a team workout Thursday and recording an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" in New York.Cleveland started out the New Year with four straight wins but has lost five of six games. In Wednesday's loss, James scored a season-high 39 points, including 13 in the second overtime. The Sixers are coming off consecutive wins for the first time since late December of last year.Link
It's better to sit out. Philadelphia isn't a team that can beat the Cavs even with Lebron out. So this would be a good time to rest his toe than getting it more hurt. But it's nothing big really anyways. It should go away in a few days.
They beat us in double over time the last game with James.I think if the Cavaliers can slow down A.I the 2nd, we can have a easy one. But gonna need my dude Hughes to step up big.

Don't ever count out the Cavaliers when they are facing the 2nd worst Team in the NBAYou must be crazy to think the Cavs don't have a shot. Even without James the cavaliers are still giving points to Philly.Hughes and Z step up, Cavaliers get a win.

Eric Snow seriously needs to be replaced as does Gooden, I think Gooden would be pretty good off the bench.
We need to start Gibson instead of Snow one game and see how it works, IMO.But Mike Brown wont do anything...
Yeah, I agree.Mike Brown has no idea what he is doing, but Danny Ferry is way to scared to do anything with the team.
He needs a better game plan that get the ball to LeBron..that's only really works when the Cavs need to get a little run going.

He has said he tells his players to drive and he said they don't listen. He also said he wont work on fixing the offense until the defense is better. It's easy, MIKE MUST GO!
Brown just doesn't get anything, he also takes out players when ever they are starting to heat up. Brown is just not the answer.
