Yankees knew what they had to do, offense completely flopped to this point. That Castro fuck up set off a dominion effect and Warren flat out flubbed the dub.

I love the fact that Boston doesn't get to celebrate on our field. They clinched the division because of Toronto's loss so they can go celebrate in private.

with 2 outs, bottom of 9th, and Tex delivers, almost didn't believe it. Something worth telling his grandkids about. Sit down, now, leave his last AB as memorable.

and Yeah, Bosox celebrating in/on YS turf, never. This much is a Yanx Victory in itself, fk you Shrek, Pet-roia rat, Boston et al. Thank God we will never have to see Shrek again on a ball field, hope to hell he's never in a booth....

btw- here's a fact only 2 other combo's have done in the history of MLB. Gregorius hit his 20th home run of the season on Tuesday in the Yankees' Win over the Red Sox at Yankee Stadium, joining Castro (21) as the first double-play combination in franchise history to each hit 20 or more home runs in a single season.

    Other 2 were Altuve/Correa 2016 and A-Roid/Bell in 99.....

Kudo's to this years revisions; to a failed plan....

I know not making the playoffs is annoying but with tonight's win the Yankee assure themselves an over .500 season. The last time the Yankees had a sub .500 season was 1992.

Holy cow! It's a great way to exit. Tex, nice job. Too damn bad you have not done more, but a win is a win.
You finally did the obvious. Too bad the game has passed you by.

On another note the best AL record is still up for grabs so these Yankees wins are putting a little dent into those plans for the Red Sox. Lets make it a sweep tomorrow.

in 99 Jeter had 24 round trippers, Knoblauch had 18. In 01 RE2PECT had 21 dingers; Soriano 18. 04 Jetz had 23 homers, Cairo, well had less than double digits.

I saw ol' Cano hit his 36th tonight (Wed 28th), I bet he'd be a HOF'r if he'd of remained a Yankee for life. I bet he would, rather than pass in obscurity in the Emerald City.

Caught the game highlights on Quick Pitch this AM, the look on Kimbrels face was priceless, Cessa and Mitchell threw two gutsy games look forward to seeing them in '17.
