Re: Ughhh this sucks! I have to get my second set of braces in a week and I just got these spacers things put in yesterday. My mouth is hella sore right now and I can barely chew things. The thing that sucks is I don't even need braces that bad. I just have a small over bite and I have two teeth that have a small gap from each other that apparently will get bigger in the future.

Re: Ughhh this sucks! If it wasn't for those two teeth, you'd probably be able to get a retainer for that overbite. I had for through 5th grade.

Re: Ughhh this sucks! I've had braces since the summer after 6th grade. I'm in 10th now. and the date of removal is still a question. A year ago, I had some sort of infection on my gums and they started to swell. I was on antibiotics to stop swelling and I was assigned to a periodontist. The swelling was gone, but some of my tooth bone was gone from a tooth. BTW, you can't actually grow it back. I had surgery last summer to insert artificial bone in there, and that has delayed the schedule of my braces. My tooth is currently doing fine, and around June or July, I'll find out if it's really is a successful surgery. The braces will come off maybe a few months after that.I've had a really bad oral history...

Re: Ughhh this sucks! Damn...I'm in my last month of so of braces now and I have to wear an elastic, which is easy to forget. I'm trying to wear it as much as possible so I won't have to wear the braces any longer.
