I'm trying to turn over a new leaf to attract more posters. :smiley-jumping::smiley-jumping:. Besides, if Dylan is not in the top 6 this year Gorton promised me AV is outta here. He's already praised him twice after the first 2 ps games which is miraculous in itself. LOL

Truth hurts bitch. Ranger fan base has long been filled with asswipes who think the coach and GM know what the fuck they are doing. One cup in 74 years. Sorry, they don't know what the fuck they are doing. AV was a retard last year. Fact.

All name calling aside, Ranger fan base got tired of Tortorella because he was brash,
stubborn & outright obnoxious with a long standing mean-tempered personality.
News flash .......AV is also a stubborn coach, but does it with a smile but he says
a whole lot of nothing. With him you never know what he'll do because he does
not wish to show his hand, but he will ultimately depend on his veteran
players even if those players are not playing their best. This is what the Rangers
have..........and we shall see how this season plays out.

It's only a preseason game, Cal Clutterbuck has picked up from last year in scoring goals against the Rangers.
He has scored both goals tonight to give Islanders a 2-1 lead in 3rd period. RangerD refuses
to take the body of players in front of their goalie. Familiar scene, watching Staal waving
his stick to clear the puck instead of taking the body.

so I bet AV's boy Glass will be on the opening roster, since there are still punk ass teams in the division like the flyers and the isles. The only way to get rid of him is trade for a tough guy who can actually be decent at hockey. I am not sure who would that be though. Martin was a good choice.

One of the reasons people left this board because they have become over sensitive, politically correct pansies like most of the U.S. Thank God this wasn't the 30's or 40's because this country would have gotten its ass kicked in the war. It's the new generation. Absolutely no toughness. Clint said it best. This is a pussy generation and he's right.

You see it more and more with sports fans. They want to believe everything will be fine. Sorry, the facts don't lie. One cup in 74 years. This fan base doesn't have to blow roses up the asses of each other. There are plenty of Rangers chat boards out there who think the people running this team know what they are doing and getting a hundred points in a season makes the year a success. By all means go there. As far as you go Messiah717. The first sign of immaturity is lecturing people to grow up. You aren't God. Stop acting like one you power hungry, jackass. Nobody cares about your opinion. You're a nobody. A nothing. No different than anybody else here. Remember something Napoleon. This board was nothing. I brought everybody here. You were just a fool that came along for the ride. You act like this board was great once. This was board dead. I brought the people here from ESPN. If they want to stay. They can. If they don't. Nobody gives a fuck other than you and a couple other legends in their own minds. The board was basically me and a few other posters that were posting most of the time. Chuck being one of them. Sadly, you think you are an adult because you are a chat board mod which proves you don't have much going on in your life. I suggest you worry about finding something to fill your time instead of kissing your own ass.

People haven't stopped posting on this board because of the board other than a few over sensitive pussies. You know why people aren't posting as much Messiah717? I'll tell you since you aren't that bright and can't figure it out. It's because the posters are getting old dummy. When your in your 20's and 30's you can get all fired up and post a lot on sports. When you get in your 40's and 50's. You have kids. You get tired at night. You fall asleep during some games. You don't have as much energy. It's called getting older stupid. Try thinking for once instead of running your mouth like a typical, imbecile chat board mod.

Prod. You think the board has changed. No it hasn't. You have. You've turned into an old fart. The ESPN board was what? 15 years ago when we first posted. What were you? In your 20's? You're probably late 30's, 40's or even 50's now. You'll probably be a fucking grandfather soon. You're old dude. If you want to act like an old fart like Messiah717. Go ahead. There are lots of nice parks out there where you can sit with a book and feed the ducks.

Only one thing has changed about the posters on this board. It's their age. You haven grown up Messiah717 or Prod. You've grown old. You have no fire whatsoever for this team any longer. If that's the case, close your accounts and spend your time at the duck park or going to your kids sporting events. Nothing wrong with that. However, some of us still have the burning desire to see this team win the cup. Not winning it since 1994 is pissing us off. It's obvious you 2 don't have that desire any longer anywhere near the level that some of us do. I don't get as worked up about this team as I did when I was 20. However, I sure as hell aren't going to dig a hole in the backyard yet like Messiah717 and Prod, sit out there with a lawn chair and a lemonade and wait to fall in. I'm still watching this team and it is pisses me off when our dumbass coach plays Glass and Girardi who sucked all year over players like McIlrath and Hrvik who were clearly better than they were. Some us don't feel the need to apologize to you for it.

I will give you one point for saying something i do believe is right..getting older has made me leas crazed for most sports teams. Back in the day i could follow all teams.i would attend a lot of games between yankees and rangers as in high school you didnt have much responisbilty.
So dump u are right getting older having less time gas probably dulled me to the pointi couldnt name the 3rd center on the ducks.

Hell i remember going to college and writing lineups over and over in my notebooks..pre measage board days. That shit doesnt happen anynore.

But here us the difference dump...
Even back when people had balls, as u says ans weren't pussies..as u say...they also were gentlemen.
You make it sound like shit wouldnt go down if you constantly acted like an asshole towards others..thar simply wasnt true. The differnexe is on here there is bo way for you getting clocked in the head when people had enoigh of the bullshit.

It isnt being insensitive its in fact not having the abilty to unload when people had enough.
So keep thinking how much more of a man you are over us pussies.

It's sad that a few posters here can't distinguish real life from the fantasy that is an internet chat board. Growing up is showing up on time for work. Doing your job. Don't commit crimes. You pay your bills. Take your kids places. Protect them. Put food on the table. Try to be a good neighbor. Help family members or friends that are sick or on hard times. That's growing up in real life. This isn't real life here. Who cares if somebody calls you a dumb bastard on a chat board. It's a fucking chat board! The priority of a few posters on this board is obvious not the Rangers. That's fine. Your priority now is taking their kids with their dumb phones to some dumbass location so they can find that dumb fuck Pokemon. That's great. However, some of us here still have that burning desire to see this team win a cup. Problem with posters like Messiah717 and Prod is you can't see what old, boring farts you've become. That's the great thing about working with kids. They are blunt and are quick to let you know when you are lame, boring and have turned into an old fart. When you work with adults all day. You can't see that you've turned into Mr. Burns from the Simpsons.

For the love God, you dense, buffoons, stop with the moronic stupidity of the tone of the board has changed. No it hasn't! The tone of the entire fan base for the most part has changed. Do you know why? Because our fucking franchise goalie will turn 35 this year and Staal and Girardi aren't nearly what they used to be and they have NTC's! That's why! Our fan base is concerned and rightly so! Because the team didn't win a cup and now the entire hockey world has said the window is closed and most of us are trying to figure out if that is the case. When your asshole coach plays Girardi and Glass over McIlrath and Hrvik, the window keeps closing faster!

Dump is right, this board and the ESPN one were always packed with people disagreeing and complaining and the older we all got the less enthusiastic we become. I still love the Rangers but I have a kid now (pictured below) and I am not going to spend as much time going over what has kept this organization from winning a Cup (let alone discussing the painfully long regular season and minuscule details about a particular game) as I did in the past.
I like coming to the board and reading other peoples' opinions, I still get a kick out of some of it. But really, I'd just rather spend time with my daughter. Oh, and I have job so that takes up a lot of time too.

Sorry guys, she got into the tupperware cabinet again...can't talk about how dumb it is Glass is still on the team or complain about Nash disappearing again.

Dump is the Donald Trump of the message board world. I made one quite accurate comment and look at this unhinged tirade. Who exactly is the oversensitive person here? I'll simply let the above speak for itself. Great job owning yourself Dumpy.

I didn't mean to get into a huge back and forth here, there's a season about to start that I am very pumped for. As I am for every season. Dump is right in that it's a message board. His right to call me a bitch, and my right to laugh at it and talk about the Rangers with other fans who don't resort to calling me a bitch and a moron when they disagree with my optimism. All I know is my fandom is just as strong as it always has been and I will be at MSG opening night fully believing that it will be the start of a cup winning season. Call me delusional, call me an old fart (trust me I am not-no idea where that came from), call me whatever, but at the end of the day I want this team to win a cup. Hopefully this June we'll all be singing Kumbaya on here while posting clips from the parade.

I'm always very excited to get the season underway. As the Pens showed last year anything can happen from season to season. I'm just not going to complain and have the team defeated before the season even starts. It's a pointless exercise.
