Keanu, cute kitten and funny premise. I do not find Key or Peele naturally funny but the movie had good production values and was mildly entertaining. The George Michael shit was my favorite part. Brings back middle school memories.
I thought that movie was kinda awful. It was ridiculously cliche, absolutely nothing original in it. The acting was pretty much the only decent thing about it.
Favreau is directing a live action Lion King! If you haven't seen his recent Jungle Book, check it out. Movie was solid enough to make me interested in what he does with the Lion King.
I did. It was ok. I love the Lonely Island guys, so I had really high hopes. It was funny at times, but I think my expectations were too much for what it was.
Yep. It wasn't incredible but I went into it with the opposite mindset, not seeing previews and having no idea who was in it and I enjoyed it. I think you are right, many movies are all about expectations. For me the Guardians of the Galaxy had an amazing soundtrack and I liked the movie but I just didn't see what others saw in proclaiming it the best of the year (or one of the best). I think it was because I was EXPECTING it to be great when I should have just not read anything and enjoyed it.
Audrie and Daisy is a documentary that I really, really enjoyed. It's on netflix. Without trying to spoil it, it's about 2 high school students (from different high schools in different states at different times) that get sexually assaulted/raped. Very powerful, and a really good watch. Really runs the gamut of emotions.
Same. It's not really a good movie in terms of plot and character development but it definitely had me laughing throughout.
Lenny Cooke. I remember the Blazers brought him to Portland one summer for a workout. He had elite size for a SF and above average athleticism but ZERO focus.
