Bron's team had over 50 wins and only like 4 wins less. He had a homecourt in the first round of playoffs, and his averages were incredible with 32/7/6 on 48% shooting.

2 years ago wasn't a joke, he brought a 35 win team to 60+ wins and the best record in the league and increased his, and others, production. But yeah, last year he didn't deserve it at all and Kobe and bron were robbed.

Iverson wasn't even in consideration for the award. The only candidates were Nash and Shaq and Nash was very deserving, he wasn't a runaway winner, but no MVP is really. There's always a debate but it was farrrr from BS. He was deserving last year too even though LeBron and Dirk deserved it more, probably Kobe too just because of the great personal achievements. And it was San Antonio that won the title I think. Also, Iverson was scoring more but his FG% was lower by 8% and his 3 point shooting lower by 13%...FT% also down by 5%. And Nash averaging 3.5 more assists with 7 minutes less playing time is a HUGE difference. The Suns' expectations that year were just slightly better than the Sixers too. They were supposed to struggle to even make the playoffs and the finished with the best record in the West. Iverson was good, but there is almost never an MVP from a very average team.

And for god sake even if they had missed the playoffs this is reguler season award not playoffs award. And are you smoking AI was tied for 4th in voting that year with Duncan dude. It was Nash, and Shaq close race and then Dirk 3rd. And I agree about you can always argue 2 years ago okay you can maybe argue last year WAS A JOKE EASY Lebron/Kobe/Dirk all 3 should have won before Nash. Last year was not right.I think that was the year DET won maybe I am wrong about who won.And 7 less min, but he had better back up I am sure then AI. And no matter what he did not have to play many minutes like AI he had help. Yes he played less min, but I can easy argue that AI should have won it 2 years ago. And if not him then Shaq, or Dirk.Suns had a lot of stuff don't no what people though AI had no body like the Suns. I am tired of players not getting props for how good they are cause they are on a bad team. Ray Allen there is a lot of guards, but should have made the all star team ahead of Tony Parker this year. Joe Johnson from the east did not get in with how good he is. It is not 1 players fault they are losing so why should they not get rewarded for having a great season if they just have no one good around them.

Nash had no back-up at all. We had our top 5, then we had Jacobsen and 2 big guys, then Steven Hunter and later on Jim Jackson on the bench. We usually had 6 players playing and our bench was horrible. There was no one who could take over for Steve Nash. If anyone on the Sixers had a label of PG on the bench they were better than anyone that was on the floor for Nash. Barbosa wasn't very good that year.Iverson gets plenty of "props." He is one of the most popular players in the game today and on everyone's top 10 player list, but he did not deserve MVP that season. Nash had good teammates, but he made them better. Q was never as good without Nash and Joe Johnson was putting up great shooting percentages. Our expectations were very low but Nash changed that and surprised everyone. That year Nash was running everything. Without him we were absolutely pathetic even with the talent on the team. He controlled everything that happened and the team was so lost without him. There was no ball movement or anything without him off the floor. It was a little better last year with House coming in and making 3's but 2 years ago the Suns were dependant on him playing well.If you go by how many minutes they played, by the stats Nash was really close to AI, but then you factor in that bad teams don't get MVP's unless the player blows the competition away and also that the Suns had one of the top turnarounds in history because of Nash and he really deserved it. The only person that I would agree deserved it would be Shaq. He was great and his team was actually very good. Neither of Nash's MVP's were BS. Last year it could have gone to the other 3, but when Nash raised his numbers from the year before and kept the team afloat when Amare went out, it's hard to say that he didn't deserve it at all.

He is one of the most popular players in the game today and on everyone's top 10 player list, but he did not deserve MVP that season. Nash had good teammates, but he made them better. A lot of times he get's killed when he does not have guys to help him about how his team plays. And no one really ranks AI as top 20 in the game yet Kobe is. And out side of winning titles with Shaq AI has done MORE then Kobe. Yes Kobe will be better then AI, but don't think he is yet when you take out the titles he got with Shaq. And AI clearly did every was talking him for MVP even with the record they had and only being a 7th seat. He finished 4th in votings ONLY because Nash, and Shaq came to new teams that sucked the season before and won a lot of games. And Dirk did great unlike some thought with out Nash lots of wins also. If Shaq stayed, and Nash stayed they would not have won they got that extra bump due to teams that sucked year before winning so many games after they came. AI deserved the MVP deff more then Nash that year. Shaq+Dirk I can't say cause I don't remember what they did that season. And I am not a Nash fan, but I don't hate him so that is not the reason I am saying that. I think he should win it this year I mean 20/10 kinda #'s are great I know more then 10 assists I am just saying. So nothing against Nash this year I think he should win it I give him the props. The other 2 years he should not have won it. And last year you can't even argue Kobe+Lebron were raped. And Dirk also I think should have finished higher. If you go by how many minutes they played, by the stats Nash was really close to AI, but then you factor in that bad teams don't get MVP's unless the player blows the competition away and also that the Suns had one of the top turnarounds in history because of Nash and he really deserved it. I understand arguing year before that. But last year how the heck you going to say 30/7/7 from Lebron is not MVP compared to Nash. And Kobe what he done with a team not man guys around him also was crazy good. Them 2 deserved it more EASY. And Dirk also great season.

Melo, I don't know how you can say Kobe plays better defense than Bell and Manu when their priority is more on the defensive than Kobes. Kobe is still always first on the offensive end.
