So Gasol is looking pretty shiny about now and we might be able to get the best outve him right now.4)Hakim Warrick-Had 27 points against the best defensive big man in the NBA tonnight against Tim Duncan, cleary he can fill the 4 spot this season, and maybe future seasons as well.3)Still Losing-With Gasol in or out, we are still losing, we gotta change something. We should go ahead and rebuild. And the fact he didnt play tonight with a "sore hamstring" which came back negative from MRIs might mean Griz and another team like the Bulls may have worked out a deal to announce tomorrow, and the other team requested for Gasol to sit out for their insurance.2)Development-Hakim Warrick, Alexander Johnson, Lawrence Roberts and even Rudy Gays playing minutes has been hindered by Gasol being back. We need to develop these players so we wont always be bad.1)Draft-With an oppuntunity to get a lotto pick from Chicago in a Gasol trade and of course ours would be great. I think Gasol should be traded but about your draft theoryChicago is not going to get Durant or Oden with the pick they would be trading to Memphisthe Knicks are playing good enough where they won't have a top 5 pickand chances are Memphis would only get one of them in the draft...if one at all because the talent they would get from Chicago and being able to move around the lineup might improve their record
Its still too early in the season to determine how nice the Knicks pick will be, anyways the NBA is pretty melowed out so if your below .500, anything is possible, especially for the Knicks.doesn't matter though, on the news yesterday they said Gasol doesn't want to be traded anymore.
I agree with you that they should trade I mean they are giving up a great player but I think in order to move in the right direction this would work out just right for them.
