I predict chuck will reappear for opening night. And if not I predict Chuck will appear for game 2. I'll be 62 in 2 months and I still get as pissed about the rangers playing bad or the moron coach AV as I did when I was 9 or 10 listening to marv on my transistor radio under the covers when I was supposed to be asleep

The fan base is simply looking at a 35 year old goalie who was the best in the world with 12 years and no cup. Did you expect the tone to be positive? Gimme a break. The posting on the old ESPN boards was 10 times more angry and negative. Like I said. We were 20 and 30 back then. Now, young people have turned into old farts and everything bothers them. That's usually what happens with old people. They complain about everything. I'm thinking about McIlrath being able to finish the job on Gudas and pummeling him. Some of our posters are like talking in a Michael Jackson voice, "I don't think this board has the right tone. I want us to love each other on this board and be positive on the world and the Rangers." Puhlease.

Agree - Its harder to be as excited about the team now after the defensive cliff they went off but that changes come opening night when we will all be back and hoping Girardi find as fountain of youth and Staal doesn't play like he should be lynched, LOL.

The regulars will all be back soon

I think if the Cubs don't win it this year the fans should burn down Wrigley Field, hang Theo Epstein and demand the trades of Jack Arrieta and Kris Bryant. I mean they haven't won since 1908 so they're overdue for what so called real fans do.

Let it out Dumpy................Man, you never disappoint. Let all the hate and regret spew out, like an oozing, puss filled sore, over a bunch of Canadians with more money than they know what to do with, chasing a puck. You are Numero Uno Super Duper Ranger Messiah Light of the World Fan. You are just SO serious about hockey. Cursing out all your Ranger pals, insulting everyone else that comes onto this board. Take a pill boy, take a pill. Just remember, you're just a dollar sign to pro sports, thats all..................They dont care that you care. Everyone else has figured that out

Wouldn't be a chat board if a Devils fan who nobody cares about here chimed in.

Dump has been handing out the insults forever, no need to get sniffly about a few posts. This Rangers team is already better with that stiff Boyle and Keith the turnover machine Yandle moving on but now AV has the $10 mil plus cap hogging torpid twins to deal with. Now with 8 dmen left it'll be interesting to see who the odd man out ends up being.

My guess is Skjei is going to start in hartford. Not that I agree with it but he's only guy who doesn't need waivers and has not had a good camp at all. If he ends up going down I'd think it would not be for long.

    McDonagh-Klein
    Staal-Clendening
    Holden-Girardi
    McIlrath

That's my guess for opening night. I'd switch McIlrath for G if up to me.

If mac is behind girardi after how girardi played last year and how he has looked in the 2 ps games he played AV needs to be fired immediately

Yep. I know I'm a dumb bastard on a chat board. It's a chat board. I can't be that way in real life, at work or anywhere else. You can't take a chat board seriously. Right now most of us are all probably saying the same thing. " I know it's hard to win the cup without tanking for a few years but with Lundqvist for 12 seasons, I thought we would have one cup." Sadly, the team has never scored consistently in any playoffs for him. Ever.
