...when all facets of the game are considered, the Cubs are far and away the better team on paper...but strange and unexpected things can happen in October. ...but I still like the Cubs to win it all.
Same here, I'd love to see the Cubs take it all; they've got a great team, and I don't foresee anyone slowing 'em down, barring injuries... Last person I want to see in PS is Shrek or his team mates... Francona embarrasses Boston, I hope....
...if Price does not pitch better tonight than he has most of the year the Sox are in deep trouble...thus far the Sox have not gotten the pitcher they paid for and Price needs to come up big tonight vs Kluber.
Never liked Price, used to hear or read his comments all the time. Looks like Chisenhall knocked off some of the shine with that 3 run bomb. I hope Cleveland beats the hell out of Boston and takes the series.
What the hell is wrong with the Rangers of Texas? Their pitching is failing them. Damn. Need to make this a series ..........need to beat those Obnoxious Annoying Jays. Really........ they are for the birds.
Nationals and Dodgers, two joke teams making the playoffs but never winning anything. Now one of them will win. Looked like the Dodgers were kicking Scherzers can but I see Washington is starting to score. Kershaw, his playoff track record isn't that good, just ask the Cardinals.
...yeah, same here...I remember him making some wise cracks a couple of years ago about refusing any contract offers from the Yanx because of their stance on no facial hair. ...thank goodness for the dress code...Price is one of the most over - rated players in the game.
Price did some heming and hawing in the post game interview. he did not say yeah give the ball again an I'll get 'em, it was more like my team mates will play better and I'll get another chance. Newsflash, Cleveland does not have a full deck of starters but as we saw in game one, Francona has nads. He put Miller right out there when he thought the game shaky. With a 2-0 lead and a day off tomorrow the Indains pen will be in damn good shape for an all hands on deck finish it. Good old school baseball. Francona did well in Boston and they shit on him, a Cleveland win would be nice payback.
