This is the most amazing movie I know of about the afterlife. It is a documentary about a Buddhist monk seeking the reincarnation of his deceased master. He searches, and finds a boy who knows an amazing number of things and answers about the master, things only the master would have known. It seemed mathematically impossible that anyone would have known what the child knew and answered - Unmistaken Child trailer
