Why is O'Neal better than Bosh? look at the defensive stat comparisons? JO is a much better defender, they both have great scoring and reb stats but yeah like I said O'Neal is better on defense.Yes you can make the arguement of Joe Johnson over Michael Redd but as I look at it Redd is in the toughest division in the eastern conference, so while Redd plays against Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland and Indiana most of the season, and though Johnson plays more times against Washington and Orlando he still has to play struggling Miami and the sorry Bobcats.Sure Boozer over Brand can happen but why I like Brand over Boozer is that even though Boozer averages a double double, Brand is a sick defender as you can tell by his block shots per game. I am a defensive guy I like all around stats.I have Billups over Kidd cause the Pistons are a better team than the Nets other than that their stats are similar. You are right on Ben Wallace I just looked at his stats and didn't realize he is doing that bad. Perhaps Okafor should go in as a center and Johnson or your boy Caron Butler go in as a forward or Eddy Curry goes as the reserve center. Its all screwed up real life anyway, at least mine makes more sense then the majority of the fan votes.

Kidd is closer to averaging a triple- double than ever. He's at 15 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds. This season he's actaully averaging a career high in rebounds. Billups is only averaging 3 more points this season. Everything else is jus about even. They both average about 1.5 steals, .35 blocks, shoot 43% from the field in about 37 minutes a night. Granted, the Pistons have a better record, but Kidd is really in my opinion having the better season so far.

StartersG-Kobe BryantG-Tracy McGradyF-Kevin GarnettF-Tim DuncanC-Yao Ming-outBenchG-Steve NashG-Allen IversonF-Dirk NowitzkiF-Carlos BoozerF-Shawn MarionThose 10 guys seem to be locks for the ASG for the west. With Yao Ming out that leaves open an extra spot with the following guys in contention for it.F-Carmelo AnthonyF-Amare StoudamireC-Mehmet OkurC-Marcus CambyG-Deron WilliamsG-Chris PaulG-Tony ParkerF-Zach RandolphI think Melo, and Paul get left off because they've missed a lot of games.Randolph probably won't make it because his team sucks, and he seems to be a very one demensional player.I see either Okur or Camby making it, not both. Camby's defensive numbers are a lot better than Okurs, but Okur has been on a tear lately and he does play for the better team.Williams and Parker are in the same boat, I see one of the two making it but not both. normally I'd say Parker would go since he is more well known, but lately there are been a lot of Deron Williams nuthugging which makes me wonder if he could slide in.my pick of the three who go:StoudamireOkurParkerfor the East.StartersG-Dwayne WadeG-Gilbert ArenasF-Lebron JamesF-Chris BoshC-Shaquille O'NealBenchF-Jermaine O'NealG-Vince CarterC-Dwight HowardG-Jason KiddF-Caron ButlerThose are the five guys I feel are locks to make the game for the east. I don't think Paul Pierce or Michael Redd will be back in time for the ASG, and even if they are I don't know if they will be healthy enough to play, and think they would probably like to use the weekend to heal. Shaq should be back by then, and known shaq he will play despit probably have playing less than 10 games for the season. the East is left with 2 spots which should go to one of these players:G-Chauncy BillupsF-Rasheed WallaceG-Rip HamiltonC-Emeka OkaforG-Joe JohnsonI think Okafor and Johnson will have a hard time making a case for a trip to Vegas because their teams suck so bad; but I do think Johnson squeeks by and makes the team. I think Billups will get the nod easily because of how much the Pistons struggled without him. My final teams.WestG-Kobe Bryant (Lakers)G-Tracy McGrady (rockets)G-Steve Nash (suns)G-Allen Iverson (nuggets)G-Tony Parker (spurs)F-Kevin Garnett (wolves)F-Tim Duncan (spurs)F-Dirk Nowitzki (Mavs)F-Carlos Boozer (Jazz)F-Shawn Marion (suns)F-Amare Stoudamire (suns)C-Mehmet Okur (Jazz)EastG-Dwayne Wade (Heat)G-Vince Carter (nets)G-Gilbert Arenas (wizards)G-Jason Kidd (nets)G-Joe Johnson (Hawks)G-Chauncy Billups (Pistons)F-Caron Butler (Wizards)F-Lebron James (Cavs)F-Chris Bosh (Raptors)F-Jermaine O'Neal (Pacers)C-Shaquille O'Neal (Heat)C-Dwight Howard(Magic)

nynj2k7, you say that as if you've watched both this whole season, but Bosh is imrpoving alot on defense, and if I could say something on JO, he doesn't deserve it, hes been on the decline ever since that huge year he has had 2 years ago, hes jsut aged too much, but Bosh, who is still 3 years into his career, is just as good, if not better than JO, Oneal isnt the all star he used to be, but I cant disagree with you when you say Bosh isnt the best PF in the East.

I hate how fans love Shaq so much.. I respect Shaq, but how do we know he'll be entertaining during the All-Star Game? What if he breaks his fu*kin' knees?Anyway, I also believe Michael Redd will most likely not be involved in the All-Star Game due to him being injured for so long.

Chris Bosh is way better then JO. He's amazing this year getting his double double like he said he will. And he carried this team through the thick and thin too. He obviously deserves to have the starting spot no doubt about it. His shots are falling and he starting to increase his range which JO can't do.

Is Eddy Curry on the AST? If he isn't, that's sad.

ROSTER HAS BEEN UPDATED AND CHANGEDEAST ROSTER:I did not know Michael Redd was out that long and I thought Ben Wallace was finally putting it together so, I heard your guys opinons, I checked stats, thought about team situations and all etc and decided with Johnson only putting up pts and Curry gettin outrebounded by smaller players that Jason Kidd and Caron Butler should go in as wild cards and that Okafor should go in as the center reserve.WEST ROSTER:The only thing I changed is that I mentioned that Carlos Boozer should be an all-star, but for the way the stupid NBA position selection process works that there must be at least 2 forwards, 2 guards and 1 center as reserves. I still think Marion and Brand deserve it over Boozer only again I say it they play better defense. So with a center spot open really it should go to him cause he can play that positon even though he is a PF but I doubt they will do that so thats why Amare is in even though it should be Boozer, kinda f'd up if you ask me.ACTUALLY F WHAT I JUST SAID BOOZER IS GOING ON MY ROSTER

^^ no offense but even though your roster was pretty weak from the beginning you shouldn't change your opinion just because everybody else says they disagree

Any list with Dirk not starting just isn't right, especially after his performance so far this year.

Why are people putting T-Mac in front of AI WTF has he really done? He is good, but AI/Nash should clearly start this is a joke. T-Mac needs to give his starting spot up show some respect to the better players. AI had 1.8 Mill votes I think yet not start? WTF kinda bs is this. And T-Mac get's more vote for real this sh*t is bs.And Melo better make this years all star team dude got snubed before and really does not deserve to get snubed again.

^^ How is it BS?TMac has had a better year than Allen Iverson and has lead a Yao-less team to a better record...It isn't like it was as bad of a snub as Shaq over Howard...and Melo will make it as a reserve
