Sounds good to me. It worked well in 1977 for us. I don't think we necessarily want to see ET dominating the ball on offense. He just needs to help initiate the offense. My main concern the last few years has been teams trapping Dame. CJ was an upgrade over Wes in helping out, but the loss of Nic at SF was an issue against some teams. Two good ball handlers on the court is essential, but having the ability to have three without losing size is so much better. I did not want to have to rely on Plumlee to be that 3rd guy. .
Rubio is still my choice for the Shaun Livingston role. Re: Turner - good call on the '99 Pippen comparison.
Man Turners got some dog in him, check him out talking shit at the Suns bench. We need guys like that. http://rip.city/2dTVUKB
At some point this year I would like to see this line up on the court at the same time. 1.Turner 2.Crabbe 3.Mo 4.Aminu 5.Ezeli / Any center or ML or Noah Fast, athletic defensive team.
Here's some discussion of Turner's struggles so far. Sounds like he is buying in and is taking personal responsibility for the problems; he's not making any excuses. That's positive. I think it will help if he plays with the same guys more. http://www.csnnw.com/portland-trail...climation-trail-blazers-still-finding-his-way
