Ecumenical because this idea is as much of a prayer as the Lillard "best fit" rumors that we were laughing at yesterday.

BG is so last year, now it's all about DMC. Seriously though I would have done it in a second last year before all that BS. Now I question his ethic and wonder if he would even fit in here. He's got tons of talent, but likely too much ego.

I hate sites like this that post something, and then don't have a comment section at the end of the article, that they can get belittled in....

And the sportsrageous piece is simply based on some random post from a guy on NBA-trade-rumors.com, which doesn't actually include any rumors, just people's trade suggestions.

    I hate the internet sometimes.

I agree that Blake Griffin is someone that could be traded this year, and I agree that he could help the Blazers in a vacuum. But we have pretty much exhausted this discussion in the past, and I believe the consensus is that he wouldn't stay here, so trading for him would be futile.

Yep, extend and trade only. And they wouldn't want what we'd be willing to give, so it doesn't matter.

Blake Griffin does some idiotic things from time to time but the guy is still one of the best post players in the game. The dude just scores! Something that the Blazers lack unless, Vonleh can become one of those guys.

What? have you watched how uncoordinated he is in the post?
He scores in the paint because he has CP3, DJ, and is just more athletic than most players his size.
Has nothing to do with his post moves, or ability to have the ball thrown to him on the block.
He's an above average passer for a big, but he is throwing lobs to DJ. Can't be that hard.
Griffin is a Star in the NBA and one of the best at his position. But he's far from one of the best post players in the game.

I would trade any two of our bigs for him. I'd miss Davis and/or Leonard but I could move on. It would be great to have a player like that who is considered a superstar by some. The dunks, the commercials, possibly starting in AS Game.

I'd be concerned that the Clippers would even think of trading Blake. If CP3 can't reign in Blake why would Dame?

Don't really need to reign him in. Got plenty of scorers without him. The concern is getting him to buy into the system and stick around after his contract runs out.

I'd rather have DeMarcus Cousins. But if Vonleh can continue to grow and improve and show signs like he did last night. There might not need to do a thing.
