I think one guy is Paul Pierce. He's been a very good playoff performer, and has been constantly improving, be it his rebounding, his shooting percentages, his defense, etc. But I think if he's surrounded with a playoff contending team, he can improve even more. He can become more efficient and put more emphasis on the defensive end, especially as Gerald and Al improve, Tony Allen comes back, and Wally realizes what his role on the team needs to be. I think that he can be a top 7-8 player in the NBA if he can get surrounded with talent, make his game more efficient. I think part of the problem is that he feels his team needs him to drop 40 a night if they want a chance to win, and to some extent that hurts him as a player. But like I said, is the talent around him raises, he won't feel as much pressure to try to score and dominate the Celtics team as much as he does, he can become an even better player. I also say he's right up there with Tim Duncan as the top two most underrated stars.
Carmelo Anthony. The guy can score, we all know that. But there are a lot of things that he could improve on offensively and defensively and he knows that. He's going to be a even better player in the future if he puts in the time on his skills that lack.
It's hard for a guy like Paul Pierce to play with a bunch of 23 year olds, it's a wierd role for a guy like him. I think Pierce is what he is but I think his play would improve if he had some better/older guys on the team...look what he did with Walker...

He has a great work ethic and I think he will keep improving on things in the future.
Every single player in the league has room to improve. Nobody is the perfect player. Until I can confidently say a player is on a higher level than Michael Jordan, he has room to improve. That is something that I don't think I'll be able to say before my death.

I think every player has room for improvement. Wade for example has a lot to improve on. When the refs dont call the game his way, he needs to develop a reliable jumper which he has gotten better on but still isn't automatic for him. He doesn't have a good shot from behing the ark and he could use help on the defensive side of the ball. He has been improving but still has a lot of work to do. Once he gets a good jumper there is nobody who will be able to stop him.
