Walking into Sams Club this afternoon and the guy checking cards was wearing Boston Gear. I said man your team got its butt kicked by a team not playing with a full deck. He replied well we made the playoffs, my reply was best record in the AL East isn't shit if you're eliminated in the first round. The only way to get some respect is to first win the league pennant. I also added in that his team had got their asses kicked and all the fans could do was scream for Big Sloppi! What a joke.
...wait, are you saying they don't give out rings/trophies for being eliminated in the first round?... bummer.
Well pitched & played on both sides. The Cleveland starters thus far have really stepped in, and up. Bullpen has been first rate.
I was glad to see Chapman go, Betances is no closer, wish the Yankees could have kept Miller but not to be.
...^^^I'm not real big on Chapman either and was not in favor of his acquisition by the Yanx...but I'm sure Cashman will go after him this off-season.
Me 3, and its good to see Tito Jr. utilize Miller in a fashion when he needs him, not let's wait and see, Kudo's to both Francona and Mad-Don, fk-U Roberts, you fkng bum scum ex-Beantowner.... Cubs vs Indians
Saw a blurb yesterday on Bautista and Encarnation complaining about the umpiring in the first two games. Boys don't be bitter, reconsider your team was never that far out but failed to hit good pitching. The Cleveland Team may be short on starters but they've shown mucho moxie in winning those first two games. Don't know how many fans will side with me on this but I want to see the Championship Trophies stay on the USA side of the line.
