Yeah, when Ford's at 100% we still have to start him. Calderon's an amazing player to come off the bench and he doesn't mind it at all. It's amazing the development I've seen in his game just from one season. Remember, we've seen brilliance from Ford too, and he's conditioned to play more minutes. But it's nice to know when he's injured we still have a quality guy running the point, I wouldn't be saying this last year.
Calderon was amazing today. He is going to be a great PG some day. I am worried that he is going to become too good to backup TJ, and he will go start for some other team.Yesterday, he was slashing like always, but he took more jump shots, and he started to catch fire shooting the ball. He is amazing passing in a pick and roll offense. He showed his amazing passing ability yesterday. We have two Raptors in the top 10 of AP48M believe it or not...We have a great PG tandem. Calderon may be the best backup Point Guard in the League.AP was off today. I remember him missing alot of jumpers. Oh well, hopefully he gets on the mark for next game.Chris Bosh struggled shooting the ball in the first, but he made literally every shot he took until the 3rd quarter after that stretch. His jumper started to turn on, and he was abbusing Brenda Haywood off the dribble. His post game is improving alot. He is now good in a face away from the basket game....He showed some good post moves yesterday.Andrea's shot was not the greatest today, but I liked what he did offensively. He was taking it in more, and he showed that he can score facing away from the basket also. He had some nice turn around jumpers. Hopefully his post game will improve even more by the time the season is over.Arenas was forcing alot of shots, but he got inside with ease, and he started to heat up in the 2nd. But the POTG on the Wizards would have to be Caron Butler imo. I love his offensive game. He doesn't shoot too many 3's like Arenas, and he doesn't force that much. But he has a great offensive game. He can hit the mid range, he has a nice crossover and he can take it in (he totally abbused Jorge yesterday), and he can even post up, and hit the turn around jumper. If he took more shots, and was a first option on a team, he could be an all star type player imo. He plays defense too....Anyway, another good Raps win. Oh yeah, btw, anyone see that 3/4 court shot by Chris? Amazing sh*t right there.
