Well just like I didn't go crazy over a game one win I won't go crazy over a game two loss. It was unfortunate because this should've been a road win. They out shot them 27-7 in the final two periods and 35-18 for the game.
Did not see the game. Looks Girardi is banged up already. Just retire already Dan. Is this management going to wait until his legs fall off or something.
They pretty much dominated most of the game. You lose some of those. They made 3 great shots on few opportunities.
I know we can analyze the goals and he did have a nice glove save in the process but three goals on eighteen shots is not a good stat line for Lundqvist. They should've won the game if not for some bad luck with the post but with an $8.5 million dollar cap hit in goal Hank needs come up big much more often than not. Like I said one game and they should've won so no reason to go crazy.
I didn't see him having much of a chance on those goals. Tarasenko lights everybody up. The 3rd goal just snuck in. Miller has to get his shot thru on the first goal. Miller has his head up his ass at the moment.
Cant go crazy about game 2 but when you outshoot other team by almost half of the shots you should at least get a point in this game.
Tough loss against a good team. Girardi hurt his hip, another reason why trading McIlrath is foolish. It's highly unlikely Dan stays healthy and if he's hurt he needs to be scratched. Hutton made some great saves. Zbad's backhander was sick and he was 68% faceoff wins, great pickup.
