    So if somehow "the media" had announced weeks ago that it was holding, and planned to release the Billy Bush tape in October, that would have made it all good in your eyes?

    Assange is (part of) the media, in fact.

    As far as I know Martin is not, and has never been, an employee of the campaign or any party organization.

    NBC execs had a plan to time the release of the Donald Trump audio to have maximum impact on both the 2nd presidential debate and the general election ... sources connected with the network tell TMZ.

    Multiple sources connected with NBC tell us ... top network execs knew about the video long before they publicly said they did, but wanted to hold it because it was too early in the election. The sources say many NBC execs have open disdain for Trump and their plan was to roll out the tape 48 hours before the debate so it would dominate the news cycle leading up to the face-off.​

Once NBC News learned that its Trump tape had been leaked to the Post and the paper was preparing a story, the network aired its own story, getting beat by about 10 minutes.

    And then NBC decided to hold it even longer, because of the hurricane, and got scooped as a result.

    Not clear to me what your issue is here. You applaud Wikileaks for holding information until it has maximum impact, but denounce NBC for doing the same.

    It's almost like you have some sort of bias.

    Mao Tse Tung did exactly that with the Red Guard...re-education camps..to this day the govt there controls internet access and journalism....peeping Tom journalism is about as un-American as you can get....are you trying to tell me the NY Yankees never really won a world series? WikiLeaks does allow you to choose your media source....it's not like a computer hacker couldn't fool the inspectors that verify it....that's never happened

    I didn't applaud WikiLeaks, though at least they're honest.

    The media intended to leak this "story" for maximum damage to one of the candidates. That's not ethical journalism.

    WikiLeaks isn't journalists, it's a database of things like the emails of the crook and her party operatives.

    WikiLeaks isn't thieves. They're posting information taken by thieves. Most news outlets are posting the same information, just not making a big deal about it because it would damage their chosen candidate.

    This is no story. Trump already has made comments about Fiorina's looks, insulted Megyn Kelly, etc.

    You apparently have no clue what journalism is.
