Well, if there was a way to detrimine the midseason MVP, then getting the most votes of ANY1 in the NBA is IMO. Enough about Steve Nash, while averaging a dbl-dbl is ok, it takes a tremendous player to avg 26-7-7, which I think is LB's avg. Besides, Steve Nash has so much around him, while the Cavs struggled to win vs the 2nd to last 76ers.

LeBron getting the most votes is essentially the exact thing that I would expect. The NBA and the media shove him down our throats so much that it should have been expected by everyone.

Getting the most votes in the All-Star game has nothing to do with MVP. It has to do with having the most fans. You say only a tremendous athlete averages 26-7-7, but Nash's 20-12 is nothing short of tremendous. Yeah, Nash has a good supporting cast, but a lot of those players didn't shine until they started playing with Nash. Plus, saying the Cavs struggled to beat the Sixers doesn't improve your case for LeBron winning MVP.With that said, congrats LeBron. He's a great player.

20-12 is easy with 6-7 scorers, but they will never make it to the top b/c they dont play D#. that being said, can the suns and the cavs trade coaches?

If people think Lebron is having a good season so far then your wrong ..His team should be doing better .. they have lost games they shouldn't have all season long, LeBron can play way better than he is now but I don't blame him that he's not .. he's had a busy offseason so he must be tired as hell and he has had to play with a fair poor team as a supporting cast IMO .. yeah he deserves every vote he's got but people have got to know that Lebron should be doing way better this year and well there's always the second half of the season comming up were I expect Lebron's numbers to be up in every single catagory and not only that I expect him to make a bigger impact on the game, so you can see if im right laterr.so halt right there if anyone is overly impressed with him which I dont think anyone is [IMG]

I'm pretty sure they're on top right now, and were last season. If you mean Finals, then no, but they've gotten real close. The Suns have made it further than the Cavs in a better conference. And ever think the reason that the Suns have 6-7 scorers is because Steve Nash is such a good passer? No, I bet you didn't. Was Diaw a scorer before Nash? No. Raja Bell upped his scoring with Nash. Barbosa wasn't a scorer before Nash. Even Amare raised his scoring up 6 points per game on arrival of Nash. It's not like LeBron doesn't have any scorers on his team. And as far as the Suns defense: The fact that their offense is so good and so explosive can sometimes overide the fact that their defense it weak. The Suns difference between points scored and points allowed is the highest in the NBA.

The first post was completely idiotic. MVP is different than best player and is certainly different than most popular player. Yao must have been the MVP the last few years [IMG] You have to be on one of the few best teams to win MVP, the best player on the best team wins MVP most of the time and that's likely what will happen this year
