This AV coach is just a complete idiot. One dimensional coach who wants to win 6:5 every game. No way they can keep this scoring pace.

Why wouldn't they play fast if that's now how their built? Plus their defense isn't physical enough to play slow. How can you not like this?

I love that they play fast but they also have to be responsible defensively when they have leads in the third period. This bullshit has been going for way too long now. AV needs to fix this or he is a complete idiot if he thinks they can win every game by scoring so many goals.

LOL they just lost a game Saturday that they dominated except they couldn't put the puck in the net. Tonight they score, beat a very skilled team, had Raanta and you're bitching about it. Like I asked is there anything you don't complain about?

why are you so thick, messiah. They blew the lead against the isles also, remember? They could not hold the leads last year even if their life depended on it. The d in the third periods has been atrocious. Not a good sign.

I thought he was ok. Remember, he was signed to be a third pairing left, and he was forced into playing first pairing right. All things considered I thought he held his own. He had a nice clear near the end of the game where he didnt take an icing.

Team is fun to watch right now. Offense is absolutely dynamic. They are twice as fast as they were last year.

Defense looked decent with the puck but they need to make faster reads on opposition entrances They are constantly losing guys on the rush and on the cycle. Wish McIlrath could get some more minutes but what we really need is Klein back to get Holden off the right. Staal and McDonagh were awesome tonight. Skjei had flashes but was bad most of the game in my opinion. Hes trying to do way too much.

I thought having Beuk here would finally give Mac a guy in his corner. So far it looks like nothing has changed. That makes me think there may be some issues we all arent seeing.

It could've had something to do with McIlrath taking a really silly penalty at the end of the second period.

I don't think they think McIlrath thinks the game quick enough still to play him that much. They're sort of forced to now so we'll see how he does in 4/5 games in a row.

Great to see this start of the season from Kreider. He can be a 35 goal guy if he commits to playing like this every night.

Yes. AV is a moron with McIlrath. However, they lit one of the best teams up in the league for 7 goals. And they dominated another one in the Blues and should have won that. This offense looks as good as it has since 1994. Trading Skjei would be a huge mistake. Do I want Trouba. Yes. What would I give up for him? It will probably take Miller, McIlrath, Nieves and Kovacs. Something like that. Not worth it. He wants huge money. I don't see a fit as a trading partner.

I'd rather hope Nash gets red hot, trade Nash and a couple of medium prospects for Nichushkin. It's clear he has given the Stars the finger. Playing in the KHL for two years at 21. Time to steal him is now. I think he has a chance to be another Zibanejad type. It would be a mistake not to acquire him.

Great win, glad to see playing McIlrath had no negative effects on this talented Rangers team. Burns is an unstoppable force, not many teams shut him down. After Hertl tripped Raanta (perhaps accidentally) he tripped Staal pretty hard behind the net and the no call by the visually impaired ref led to McIlrath going after him. The crowd certainly appreciated him popping Hertl who was foolish to drop the gloves but I guess AV didn't hear that. Hard to be too critical of a team leading the league in scoring, best is to enjoy.
