The only thing I hate about these types of threads is the when they criticize Bush's intelligence. Obviously he has quite a bit. In fact, probably more then every person that crititicizes him.

Bush is not stupid, he is word dumb and a very bad public speaker. He is also made to sound like a worse speaker in the fact that some of his predecessors, Reagan, and Clinton, were some of the greaterst orators in Presidential History. In a political structure like the US stupid people don't make it all the way to become president, in some societies yes the villiage idiot does rise to power, but those tend to be in Hierarchial societies, and even then those guys usually end up dead.We criticize him for some stuff outside of his control, don't forget the real power in the us government lies with the Congress. Congress gave him permission to go into Iraq, without that he would never have had the ability to do so. It wasn't just Repbulicans who voted yes on the war resolutions, John Kerry famously voted yes before voting no.
