Stop pretending that there's anything that you like about Hillary other than the fact that she's a woman. If she was an old, fat, straight white guy, you would hate him as much as the rest of us.
Perhaps you should stop pretending that crandc can say anything without you spinning her comments as sexist. I dislike Hillary, but damn dude.
There's only one candidate in the race who is even remotely qualified for the job. You don't have to like her. Y'all wanted to have a beer with W, and look how that turned out. barfo
She said that there is plenty to like about Hillary, and I find that completely ridiculous. The only reason why she'll win this thing is because Trump is literally the worst presidential candidate in the history of American elections. It's a victory by default, so let's not pretend like she's actually a decent candidate. There are some women who are only voting for her because she's a woman and they want to see the first woman president. They don't care who it is. They don't care what that person has done. I'm 100% fine with having a woman president, and I think there are actually a few really decent candidates out there, but Hillary is not one of them. She is evil. She has broken the law. She has no qualms with selling her soul to the banks and to Wall Street. She is not our friend. We will be worse off as a country by the time she leaves office. Bill gave us NAFTA, which has completely fucked over the middle class. Hillary will give us the TPP, which will further fuck us over. If you want to vote for Hillary because you hate Trump, go for it, but let's not pretend like Hillary is a good person or a good politician.
Want to know how to trigger Ted Nugent? Tell him on his facebook that you're going to write in him for president. His reaction is great as it's essentially a vote "for that bitch. Vote Trump."
No, she's not evil. That's silly. She's a politician. If you think politicians are evil, then every president we've ever had has been evil. Well, luckily we'll have a chance to find out, and we'll meet back here in 4 years and find out if you were right about that. Most economists strongly disagree with you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Mine is that she's a fairly lousy campaigner, and a pretty effective politician in office. barfo
did something change? She said TPP is the gold standard, then during one of the debates between her and Trump she said. "I said I hoped TPP would be the "Gold standard", but when I researched more about it wasn't. So I don't support it." Which even the fact checkers who have shown to have an agenda to be pro-Clinton said was a lie. That she indeed say it was the "Gold standard". Effective politician in office huh. I wonder if the dead people on her watch due to ineptitude would say the same.
Yes, that was a lie. She changed her position for political purposes (namely, trade agreements have become the political bogeyman this year, so one can't be for them). I suspect/hope that she actually thinks TPP is a good agreement. I could point to similar flip-flops by pretty much every other person who has successfully run for president. Being a politician isn't some amazing new form of criminal behavior. If she had any personal culpability for those, I'm sure the 9 investigations would have turned that up. Do you blame Reagan and his secretary of state for Beirut, where hundreds of people died? The world is an unsafe place, expecting to never lose anyone overseas is a fantasy. Obviously things could have been done better, in hindsight - but you can say that about any of hundreds of fuckups by every administration. barfo
Um, every president has been more of a piece of shit than the last except for the few that did right and got shot for it.
History disagrees with your assessment. We've had better and worse presidents throughout our history, it is not a monotonic function. barfo
Well, I was a small child when Beirut happened.... so I didn't blame anyone in particular for anything. Well, that's not true.... maybe Reagan was responsible for my Batman action figure disappearing in a pool in Kauai.
Some time ago someone, I forget who, started a thread, without mentioning Trump can you say why you are supporting Clinton? I gave a pretty detailed answer. I did not support Fiorina or Bachmann who are just as female because of fundamental disagreements with them. I have some disagreements with Clinton but I consider her the best qualified and we have numerous points of agreement: Equal pay Reproductive choice Marriage equality and opposition to employment discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity/expression Support for public education Embraces the diversity of the country and sees it as a strength Support for animal welfare Wanting to improve health care, not just say you're on your own Supports strengthening social security Immigration reform Action on global warming and environment generally Oppose attacks on voting rights She's too hawkish for me but at least she does know foreign policy and does not call Putin a great leader. She has shown she can maintain her composure in difficult situations. She has shown wide ranging knowledge of issues, so even when I disagree at least I know she's in the fact based world. I don't know who "the rest of us" are, Natebishop3. The fact is the overwhelming probability is that a very large majority of voters will vote for Hillary Clinton. Some with enthusiasm, some with concern, some as "lesser evil". Regardless, the vote counts the same. Will "the rest of you" accept the election results?
You could have just said "she's a Democrat." "Oppose attacks on voting rights" LOL yup.... Hillary is ALL ABOUT voting rights, considering she and the DNC essentially rigged the primary. Marriage equality..... interesting..... http://gawker.com/remember-when-hillary-clinton-was-against-gay-marriage-1714147439
