Holdens been decent so far, you can't really complain much about him, though at times he looks a little shaky. Definately not AHL material or a scrub.

Holden played a good game in what was a great team effort against a very solid team on the road.

Simple..there were no fights so for some the game sucked. Seems thats the bottom line these days. Team comes back from 2 down and we are hearing about why one player isnt in the lineup.
Vecsey enjoying a great start but lets remember oscar had just an awesome start last year.

You must've missed when he got completely undressed by Kuz for the breakaway. Playing with the guy like McDonagh also helps not to get exposed every single time on the ice.

No didnt miss it at all, I just dont believe that losing a single one on one battle against one of the shiftiest guys in the league makes him a scrub. If you do that's fine, but I also look at gap control, decision making, man reads and a ton of other factors which I think he is doing quite well.

My guess is that they jumped at the chance to trade a veteran who is likely at his ceiling for a draft pick in what looks to be a rebuilding year with a new coach.
