Ugh! Morning football. People on West Coast get to watch a lot of AM football.
    How is it with breakfast?

Lillie......it is the most important meal of the day. Then again, that's why we go to diners. Breakfast
    is 24/7.

Lillie.......how do you like Landon Collins? The guy is a beast on defense.

Just the opposite about the Giant offense........they are offensive. Team gets a huge
turnover with an interception; so, what does Giant O do....... three and out, giving Rams
    plenty of time.

End of game.......Eli is looking to shake someone's, anyone's hand. Nobody is shaking Eli's hand
today. Had tough time moving the offense; if it were not for the D help, Giants may have been shut out!

But in this game, a W is a W. That is all that matters.

...I'm setting the over/under of yardage allowed by the Raiders defense at 500 yards.

Ron, the Raiders are perfect on the road. In a battle with Chiefs & Broncos for the division title.

...^^^ yeah, though the Jags suck at least the Raider's D showed up for a change. They're still a young and developing team but they're light years better than they have been for many many years.

...their running game is a glaring weakness and the defense is simply way too porous to go very far in the postseason, if they make it that far.

...but again, it's nice to see them actually being competitive and relevant...ahh, good times.

^^^you rest. It really helps. As for Eli, he's just not grasping McAdoo's offense schemes.
The dude needs to study harder! Lol.

It's very difficult when you can't run the ball, you don't have a tight end worth a damn and the offensive line isn't that great. I wrote on a Giants board the following. You have the Dallas Cowboys sitting in first place and there's three quick comparisons you can make.

Tight End: Dallas as Witten and the Giants have garbage
Offensive Line: Dallas one of the best if not the best in football and the Giants below average
Running Game: Dallas Elliot and Morris while the Giants use a merry go round of guys non of which all that good.

^^^^^no complaints here. Their GM has crimped when not drafting TEs, RBs, LBs. He has opted to
    go the free agency route......
Again, this teams' needs are many. Just how long will it take to make the Giants a legit playoff team?
At this rate, if things stay the same, maybe in five to seven years.
Giants need more than two or three players per draft to improve in this league.

BTW, running for 17 yards game total will not cut it.

New York teams across the board have a ways to go to be legit title contenders.
