Beltran was a solid pick, in my opinion. I'm also happy with him. I'm forgetting about most players. It's been quite a while since baseball.
he was sick in the playoffs 3 years ago with the stros. I am happy I got soriano, but by now im pretty biased to him.. althought I admit I wanted a later pick so I can get two great players rather than 1 superstar 1 and 1 good one because this years 1st rounders are deep in my opnion like I said earlier
In past years I went with big sluggers in the early rounds, I.e. Pujols but it never really paid off for me. thus, I go pitching, and who will top santana???...hopefully zambrano ))GO CUBS16 days until pithers and catchers report
Santana is the best pitcher in the league hands down. And yes Beltran was on fire in the playoffs for the Astros yet he hadnt faced that important an at bat till last year when he struck out looking for the Mets last out of the year

^ He's good, but not by any means a "steal"...Anyways I have David Ortiz and Carl Crawford now. I got myself a nice power/speed combo.
You're kidding, right?Carl Crawford is a beast with Runs and Stolen bases. He's arguably the best leadoff hitter in the league next to Ichiro.
Dono about that, I mightve taken him if he came back 3rd round. Vernon wells is good but im not so sure that was a "steal" in the early 2nd round. Lance Berkman had one of the best offensive numbers but im just not sure if I can trust him to do it in consecutive seasons, and heathily I might add.
