Kluber is sharp tonight. Atmosphere is electric. Exciting times in the Cleveland. Only question is
will Cubs offense come alive against Kluber later? I can hear the beating of those drums as I relax
on this cold evening in New York. Hot toddy time.

 

I don't know what a Hot toddy is, but I'm having some Wine to warm up as Cleveland takes a 3-0 lead.

1 oz bourbon or whiskey
1 tbspn honey
2 tspn lemon juice
Put these ingredients in a 6 oz cup
Top off with hot water. Stir until honey is dissolved.( I stir with a cinnamon stick)
I prefer a little more bourbon.

I can't drink that hard stuff I have a bad stomach, but it sounds good.

 

It really is soothing.........and thank God it make me sleep better than usual. A glass of red wine would
also be fine.

 

Home plate umpire, Larry Vanover, has a wide plate. At least he's calling it for both teams.

 

Imagine. Francona's record in World Series games before tonight was 8-0..........just raises the
question, "What was Red Sox management thinking by firing this guy?"

 

Why do I get the feeling these announcers are pulling for the Cubs? Destiny?
Gimme Miller any time.........even when he is not as sharp as usual. He is elite. One tough
competitor.
