Two way contracts deal only with how much a player is paid when playing in the minors. A guy on a two way deal is paid less if he plays in the minors. Waivers are based on time in the league and games played. Clendening needs waivers to go down. I agree, he's been extremely disappointing since he's gotten here. hed be my choice to go as well. I hope we don't lose Jooris, I like him. We'll definitely need him if Lindberg or Fast end up being trade bait.
I wouldn't dump Jooris yet. Maybe put McIlrath on IR if possible while they work him into some sort of deal. I'd be happy with a high 3rd for him as we know what Clark can do.
