Tim Duncan is playing great so far. When he has to settle from 15 feet and he doesn't go glass, he doesn't do very well. But when he plays with his back to the basket, or he uses the glass, he is unstoppable. Bruce is doing a good job on Kobe so far, but because of that, Lamar is doing great so far. I think he already has 6 points.

Bynum hasn't had a particularly good game so far, offensively he looks out of sync and defensively Duncan is using him, but then again you can't really expect a 19 year old to outplay the best power forward of all time. Odom has looked good so far, much better than on Friday night. I don't know what the deal is with those one handed rebounds though.
Man, the refs really sucked at the end of regulation. They missed a call on Duncan when Kobe went for the dunk....Luckily for them, they got the rebound and got it to Vlad for a 3 ball. And Kobe totally pushed Horry's arm on that 3 ball. I think the Spurs got very lucky though. Tim SHOULD be fouled out of the game...Even though that foul they called on him against Odom was a bad call IMO.

A little bit of great defense and 2 horrible plays...That's Phil's only weakeness as a coach.... in bound plays

God, if you dont think Kobe Bryant is the best player in the league, you are nuts. Not only did he make 3 of the toughest shots you can think of in overtime, but he also made two brilliant passes for uncontested dunks. The guy is completley amazing.....HUGE shot by Finley. He was at least 2 feet behind the 3 point line, and it was nothing but net. There were 5 lead changes in the last minute of overtime....Great game. I dont know how the Spurs pulled it off though. It seemed like the Lakers hit every shot they took in OT.
Kobe was about as clutch as you can possibly be, but the Spurs were just too much (along with terrible Smush performance down the stretch and horrible FT shooting).
Yeah, I almost forgot about Smush's TERRIBLE shot. What the hell was he thinking when he put that spin move floater over Tony Parker? Its not like the shot clock was almost out either...What a terrible move by him. If they got another look on that possession, they would have probably won the game.
If you don't think the Lakers lost this one on rebounding you didn't watch the game. I can name three plays down the stretch in the final two minutes for the Spurs where they got offensive rebounds, those three rebounds resulted in 7 points. The Lakers F*cked themselves two games in a row now.
