Today while I was watching the Spurs against the Lakers I heard Marc Jackson saying that these Spurs are being called the worst team to have the 3rd best record in the NBA ever? I mean I guess you could say that since they are so up and down but I dunno if I would go that extent. Your opinion...?
DIdnt' he say that everyone was saying they are playing really bad this year, but they still have the 3rd best record?I thought the Spurs would come into the season and go like... 35-1, and finish with 65+ wins. They're playing below expectations, but they're still the Spurs. Come playoff time, it's a whole new ballgame.
well Jammin, then your expectations were way too high. The Spurs are way too old to be that good. Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili is a pretty solid top 3, but after that, the Spurs role players are playing very streaky. I dont think this team is a bad team for having the 3rd best overall record in the league, but they are definitely going to have to prove something to me in the 2nd half of the season.
