And after further searching for this epic meltdown thread, it appears that its deleted and lost in oblivion Though I stumbled across the thread where Mods were being elected and OdenIsGod went ballistic at HCP being nominated as a potential Mod. We've had some effing good meltdowns on here over the years guys!
I was just poking around at the old bbf site. First, wow what a ghost town. Not a single post in the Blazers forum since May. It appears even Mixum has given up on that site. No fun trolling when no one ever tries to cross your bridge. Anyhow, I found these comments, by me, about Ike Diogu after a preseason game against UT back in October 2008: "Ike Diogu reminds me a lot of Zach Randolph - without the rebounding. With his upper body bulk he can (and does) get his shot off against anyone, but he's a horrible, disinterested defender who totally lost his man (leading to a wide open dunk) on multiple occasions, He's also a black hole and a HORRIBLE passer. The few times he does actually try to pass it's likely to go right to a wide open DEFENDER. He's such a horrible passer you're actually better off with him forcing up a shot against a triple team than try to pass out to a teammate. I miss Channing Frye. I know a lot of people look at Ike's bulk and want him to be a great rebounder and defensive banger. He's neither." I remember I wasn't a fan of Diogu, but Ed O. thought he was destined for greatness and was upset when we traded him. But, I don't specifically remember any great meltdown by him over the topic of ke Diogu. BNM

That wasn't a single event. He was banned several times, under PapaG, as well as several other usernames (BGrantFan, Yoda of the Moda, NewsSource). When it comes to getting banned, PapaG was the GOAT. If you count all his various aliases, he may have been banned more than all other posters combined. BNM

True. I never had any run ins with him, and he was always cordial with me at least. But I know he rubbed quite a few the wrong way.

He had a memory like a woman who you've been married to for 40+ years. He never forgot anything and he'd be quick to toss it back in your face. It didn't matter if it was something you said 8 years ago. He remembered.
PapaG did donate money for my album/tour Kickstarter though. He had a nice part hidden away in that dark heart .
He's not the only one with a memory. He called my then 12-year old daughter a whore because she had a crush on Nicolas Batum. He later edited his post (after I reported it) and apologized. Disagree with me all you want about basketball, politics and life in general, but talk shit about my kids and you cross a line that can't be uncrossed. BNM
