Ok, I guess I'll start at the beginning. In the 7th grade I was considered "accelerated" in Math so therefore instead of taking a normal math class a few of us took pre-algebra. Which at the time seemed cool, by the 8th grade we were taking algebra, 9th was algebra II, 10th was calculus, 11th was geometry. Now for the average student that's only math you have to take throughout high school and it seemed I earned was done with Math for the rest of high school. But since I took algebra in the 8th grade (which is on their course list) I couldn't take it again, nor could I use the credit for my school's credits and I need 4 to consider completing Math. So now I'm stuck with trigonometry, which is basically living hell. Anyways, the first quarter came and went, by the end I had a 73% which I'll take because this sh*t is so damn hard. But I just got my grades for the end of the semester and it wasn't great. It's about as bad as Ben Wallace's free throw percentage. It's like an 42% or something and it doesn't take a genius to figure out that I just completely failed this class. I have until March 9th to bring the grade up or I'll have to try and complete it in Summer School, which well, I don't want to do go through.Okay, now to the main point of this post...has anyone ever taken and actually did good in this subject and might know a few places I could go to get additional help? I've asked teachers and consolers and the site's they've gave me didn't help much. I went out and brought "Trigonometry for Dummies" but I can barely understand it because it seems too damn advanced for me already. :thumbdn1:

I had Pre-Calculus, which was 90% Trig. I had no trouble. But that may be because my teacher was absolutely retarded, he didn't teach, and you were graded on how good your notebook was. I didn't do either term project, and I got a 14% on the final. I got an A- final grade.

"Dont Stress for Dummies" a pretty simple book to pass most tests and get through classes.

I don't think stress is a problem, it's just that math is sometimes way too hard. This is my math history:7th grade- Pre Algebra 96A+8th-Algebra 102 A+9th-Geometry 95ANow in 10th-Algebra II - C+The thing is I study like 10x more for ALgebra II compared to the other years, and I still have a bad grade. As a matter of fact, only 2 people have As this year.On-topic, I can tell you that at least for me, online help sites have really helped me a lot. If not, get a tutor.

I took A1 in 7th so I was 2 years advanced, but it confused the sh*t out of me so I am taking it again right now.

I hate triangles... all that soh cah toa stuff. Not that it's really hard though, I just don't like it.It's not as bad as spatial geometry and linear functions and stuff like that. Y'know, stuff like with graphs.I'm still pretty good at math though, which is too bad because other than the easy stuff I don't like having to show your work and anything like that.
