Rajon Rondo dished 13 assists in his second game in a Bulls uniform versus the Pistons on Oct. 29. While that isn’t unusual for him – he’s recorded 130 games in his career with 13+ assists, the ninth-highest count among NBA players over the last 30 years – according to the Elias Sports Bureau, it is unusual for teammate Dwyane Wade. Elias says that in Wade’s 13-year career, he had only started two games prior to Thursday where the other starting guard had as many as 13 assists (12/2/06 and 2/8/09). Through the first two games of this season, Chicago has a 102-69 rebounding edge over its opponents and has shot 20-of-46 (.435) from beyond the arc.

Bulls rout Nets 118-88 in road opener, improve to 3-0 Dwyane Wade left his defender in the dust with a vintage crossover that brought players on the Chicago bench and fans behind them to their feet. "He's still got some `ahh' in his bag," teammate Jimmy Butler said. "Very impressive." So are the new-look Bulls. Butler scored 22 points, Wade had 12 in the first road game of his career not played for Miami, and the Bulls improved to 3-0 by beating the Brooklyn Nets118-88 on Monday night. I know this sounds weird coming off such a huge win, but I don't think the team played that well last night. Keep in mind I came in during the end of the 2nd quarter when the lead was already built up, but from then on the difference in score was never that large and I thought the team looked lazy and complacent. Maybe because they didn't need to do anything beyond that, but it looked like they were coasting against a crap team, nothing more. Rondo in particular was awful during this time. Lots of errant passes and he looked like Carlos Boozer guarding Jeremy Lin.
True, but this team in the past lost to teams like the Nets way too often. That being said if we play against the Celtics the way we did against the Nets, we could get our first loss.
